Hello there! This is an amazing video! I tried to season my wok a while ago but it wasn't slick and nonstick like yours is in the video. Plus there is not a burnt spot where food always burns and get stuck to. Could I use kosher salt and then detergent to remove the coating and then reseason? Furthermore, can I just use the oven to reseason? This video is giving me hope again, and I sincerely thank you!!! :)
yes you can, once you remove the seasoning or use any type of detergent , you will have to re season it, you can use you're oven all depending on you're wok handle( if plastic if it can be removed before so it wont melt)
@@StatUpBox To be honest I think the salt method would probably work better, and maybe do detergent if I feel up to it. I did the seasoning for the bottom of the wok in the oven as well and the bottom is pristine. So I look forward to trying to reseason again.

Is non-stick spray oil a good option for seasoning?
