In South Africa 37°C is the temperature, was roofing my bike for a good hour, then Fi light came on when I was 2 minutes away from home. It remained on until I got home, turned off the bike, then turned it back on and the light was gone. I think the bike was getting faulty codes cause of the heat cause even the tank was hot
You need to adjust your throttle position sensor as well. That dash mark to the left of the FI has 3 places, top, middle and bottom. It should be in the middle. You can adjust the tps from the right side. You can look it up in the manual.
Been a while since I recorded this one, I got the c00 as well the first time. It has to do with the order that you turn on the bike and jump the connector. If you look at 6:05 you see the c00 the I explain how to get the code at 6:40. Turn the bike on then connect the paper clip.
I got rid of the servo using a servo eliminator. Easy and inexpensive. At the time an ECU flash would have meant being without the bike for a month, as I live in the middle of nowhere and would have had to mail it somewhere. However I have since sold this bike. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great stuff 👍. Thanks for the in-depth research and explanation.
You’re welcome

Pull the codes right away next time, I rode mine in the mid 30’s and never had an issue, ambient temperature should not rigger an FI light
What happens if you do not replace the servo eliminator?
Excellent video
Thank you very much! I appreciate you taking the time to comment on it

I have the same issue, did the same test and got C00. No code at all.

Where did you get the footrest?
They were on it when I bought the bike, they’re Kuryakyn running boards
My 08 is doing is doing that im going to look today
Does it work for m109r 2010 ??
Dunno, probably, you can try it . If that plug is there to jump, then likely it would. Best check the M109R forum, they could tell you for sure
What size is your windscreen?
Hi there, I’m not sure what it was. It was in the bike when I got it and I don’t have the bike anymore, sold it last year
Get your ECU flashed. Get rid of the servos…
