Man, the gallery at the end is always killer, and this one is no exception. Some cool kits coming out. That Saturday Morning looks like a real winner. Don't listen to Scott. Model and a Movie is great. I don't usually care much about the movie, but the kit talk and seeing Brian's prolific work and purchasing is always fun.
Saj is the guy! Getting that out of the way before I forget. Because by the time I finish this episode, I will forget. Heck, it's Tuesday morning, and I am just starting to watch. I completely get where you guys are coming from when you talk about stuff happening. Life is busy, and hectic, and finding time for fun stuff can be difficult. Heck, it's a month after WF and I still haven't gotten through all my pics from the show yet. Let alone do any modeling. Scott, I am so sorry for your loss. We just lost our 16 year old cat recently. It sucks, but it kind of comes with the territory of having pets, so you learn to deal with it. Gotta pause now before you get into the full WF discussion. Gotta go to work.
Saj is the guy! Great episode like always, I've been saying for years WF needs to move to a bigger venue, though I don't know if there's much available with just a bit more space without moving to convention center, and then you lack the connected hotel, both of which they seem to not want to do. I really wish they would upgrade technology and have a fully integrated system for the contest... If I had just a bit more time, I'd offer to build it, but who knows
Yes - that "Saturday Morning" kit is awesome - look forward to an update. Shame though the kid doesn't have his tongue poking out (concentration face)!
I loved this show. I think the week off did you guys good. You both seemed refreshed. Let's get this out of the way: Saj is the Guy and Salem's Lot lot. I only bought two kits at Wonderfest: Scott's small Kong and Petilence's Werewolf of London, which was more beautiful in person than it looks in pictures. I want to buy the Kong bust at some point, I just have too many kits unbuilt right now.. I think you should try and get Aaron (I don't know his last name) from Fine Scale Modelers on the show. I'd like to hear his thoughts about the hobby, 3D printing, and vehicles versus figures. Also, he takes great photos of kits every year at WF, so you could pick his brain about photography as well. Glad you guys are back!
Scott so sorry for the loss of your four legged buddy.😢 Another great show guys! Yes I too missed the show although I did know it was gonna be later because of WF. From what I saw on line, WF looked like a great show. I haven’t been there since the early 2000s. I have been to Jerseyfest a few times before the pandemic hit. I missed it last year but not sure why it’s not happening this year ( reorganization, new owner?) Anyway Jason thanks again for the detailed info on new dry brushes. It helped me and they worked great! Please keep up the work on the show for as long as it’s fun for you guys even though I’m sure it’s grueling work at times as well. Take care guys.
Sajs an ape .. Dirty name plates for me As well as those cool little kits ….. Great show … Shocked that no Kongs were sold I pretty much look at Scott’s Aurora inspired Kong every day
I always bring food with me. Not food food, but snacks.. Cookies, chips, pop tarts, I also bring a pack of bananan-nut-muffins, and that is what I have for breakfast every morning. We get pizza every Friday at the place down the road, so that is dinner and at least lunch the next day, if not dinner as well. You can also get food delivered to the hotel. Sunday I usually grab a ham & cheese croissant but this year they only had turkey. I can't comment on the Kong bust, as I don't buy Kongs unless they are Skull Island. I did some shopping but I also went home with money in my pocket. I've gotten more selective as my collection has grown. Also, a couple things I was gonna buy, I couldn't as the dealer closed up early on Sunday. I loved the man in the monster tribute kit, but I am waiting for the full figure. I will be buying that. The Nostalgic Resin suite was a blast. I had a great time, except for the malort. Don't get me wrong, it was funny watching others drink it, but my drinking it scared me. I think you're right about the midwest thing. I rarely take offense and usually see the humor in stuff. You are right about this year being a bit off. I chalked it up for me for waiting in line so long with my contest entries. That just sucked the enthusiasm out of me on Saturday. I was having fun, but I was also low energy most of the day. At least until after hours. After I had time to kick back in my room, eat and relax I was ready for fun after hours.
Glad yall liked the gifts, but sorry to hear that one of the Jason's Mom's Sause over pressurized in the cargo hold. Tijuana Flats is a Tex-Mex Restaurant here in central Florida and I'm sure if you ask Mark & Shanna nicely, they will drop another bottle in with their next shipment to yall. Barry
Scott went online and ordered a shirt instantly! It was the fastest I have ever seen him do anything in my entire time of knowing him LOL! Thank you again so very much!!!!!
absolutely not. show is packed every year. Mor likely cost of doing the show in Indy vs Cincy. Horrorhound did shows in both places every year, I am sure it was probably more costly to do a show in indy.

Thank you so much Jason and Scot for breaking down the show. So much of what you're talking about seems to be on going issues with the show.
Scott, so sorry for the loss of Buddy. He was the BEST furbaby!!! ❤

Michael has indeed beefed up the legs on the TV and table.

I think a Ufo hunt would be fun for Jason and Scott.. getting probed and other stuff. lol
A couple of monster themed albums I really like are the compilation Halloween Hootenanny and the Southern Culture on the Skids album Zombified.
Scott - can you ask Uel if he would consider doing MarineBoy (and supporting cast)?
Scott so sorry for your loss😢.
Another great episode.
Say is the guy.
Sorry to hear about your dog Scott. Jason I had no idea about Dan I’ll say a prayer for him and his family.
I really love Todd Powell. No foolin". (Enter me in the Ape nameplates drawing, please.)
In all the years you guys have gone to Wonderfest has there been talk about moving the venue to bigger place?
No. Not officially. I would love it in a bigger place.
Also jason you were right. Howard should have been printed separately from the chair. Painting him is making me a little nutz.😂
I am working on one now and going to print it in multiple parts. When it done I will send you one if you like to replace that one.
Sajs an ape ..

When will we start to see kits based on the Super Panavision AI videos of super heroes? Interesting stuff there.

That's what I thought and had it in the original slide and we paused to change it but then we got confused with what the words actually said.
Two of us will attend
I didn’t buy a Kong bust cause I’d bought it earlier in the year and entered it into the contest! But I DID buy the Aurora scale full figure kit.

How many decades did Jason go? Conventions don't age like a fine.. more like prunes.
