Hiya Callum, I like these vlogs, its a shame they couldn't relocate to Kelty Hearts, like you say there would of been uproar, its good Inverness didn't go to the wall like some of the Glasgow teams in the Scottish Cup vlog, that you done, it was like that when Gretna had to go to Motherwell for there home games, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
Caley Thistle have always struggled with poor support and low attendances. I remember when they finished 4th in the SPL under Terry Butcher - he commented the City 'didn't deserve' the team. They averaged only 4,000 that season. Perhaps it's easier to believe you are a 'fallen giant' than to accept you never were one in the first place.
The low attendances are a hangover from the original merger. Many fans of both Caledonian and Thistle refused to go see the new team. They’ll have had children who would then go on to support Rangers or Celtic probably.
It's dire, I love caley and always will it just keeps getting increasingly hard to want to see them play and facing insolvency just scares me more, we just need someone to fix it
Aye. There is an advantage to me however being in league one as I live in Aberdeenshire so can go to away games at cove rangers but I'd rather be going to pittodrie
Rise and Fall but its not over Yet... As long as there is a club then we can and I am sure ICT will eventually start climbing leagues again even if they possibly have to do it from bottom league next season if in all likely looks like it will be from, they won't be the first club to go from top to bottom and back up.
Great video, mate! Thought you may be interested to know that the idea of the training being based in Fife, believe it or not, isn't an ICT creation...! I don't know if they still do it now they are a full time Football League club but Barrow suffer from the same issue Caley do in that it is a bit of an outpost and many players don't want to move there to play football so they moved their training to Manchester to attract more players from much higher population centres like Manchester and Liverpool and travelled up to the games on a team coach as if it was an away match.
Brechin used to train at Grangemouth. Used to see them when I played with my mates on the other side of the pitch. Put in view how far I am from any sort of professional football 😂

You say that Gardiner will never get another job in Scottish football. Unfortunately I think you are mistaken. Gardiner has the right connections and more importantly the right handshake to ensure he will find employment.
@@CallumBlyth You'd hope so Callum but he is well connected. The Tynecastle seats debacle should have been a terminal event for him but still he got the gig at ICT.

@@CallumBlythwhats the point in supporting a team 160 mile away…
Mostly rangers fans in Inverness. Embarrassing.
In leagues throughout Europe ie Portugal Belgium Holland , teams have lower attendancies than 4000
An average attendance of 4,000 means 1 in 11 of the population of Inverness were going to support their local team. That is a very good rate.
