My XMAX 300 can easily go to 155kph but I have an aftermarket exhaust with resonator and I'm using Yamaha fully synthetic oil and I think I can go faster than 155kph since I still have throttle left but the problem is that in my country specifically in my province we got shitty roads so I haven't tried to go beyond my current top speed.
xmax 300 and the top speed is only 140 kmh?? Same situation for aprilia; only 135 kmh?? Are you sure you are going full throttle in this video for both bikes?

Full throttle, everything is stock and that is same speed like manufacturer daclare in papers
By the way Aprilia's acceleration is very bad comparing the other bikes in 250cc segment. Piaggio x-evo 250 is way better.
Sport variomat gives more, and it is not expensive

@kijciu it is not broken it is lose contact sometimes, and all it is visible on computer diagnostic, replaced for 40$
