  • Step-by-step guide on how to change / remove / replace tail lights or tail light bulbs on Nissan Rogue SUV ( 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | S | SL | SV | AWD ).
To remove the tail light first there is a 10mm screw which is holding it in place. Remove the screw. Now you will have to pull out the tail light straight out. Be careful not to pull to the side as you will brake the pins and possibly the taillight itself. You can help yourself by using some duct tape like shown in the video or by prying it gently out using plastic trim removal tool.
Once the tail light is out you will have to remove the light bulbs. Turn the light bulb sockets counter clockwise and pull out. In case you are replacing complete tail light assembly just insert the light sockets into new tail light. If replacing stop light bulb, backup light bulb or turn light bulb then just pull out the burnt bulb and insert new one into the socket. That's it.

Thank you. Very good video. I am going to try this because I need to replace both my tail lamp/stop/blinkers. I didn't know how (figured it would be easy). So, your video has shown me what I should do the easiest and cheapest way.
    Thanks again.
