- Dave Phillips and Dave Brown show off two jet aircraft form the 1960s and 1970's -- an ex-RNZAF BAC Strikemaster, and a Cessna A-37 Dragonfly (sometimes called the 'Super Tweet') that was once used by the South Vietnamese Air Force.
This display was at the Classics Of The Sky airshow in Tauranga, New Zealand in January 2014.

I would love to have one of these as my personal aircraft
That Tweet was so smooth. The Strikemaster looked liked he was a bit bouncy up there.
love how the strikemaster / provost sneaks up on A37
Great little clip! Just to be accurate, the A37 was known as the Dragonfly. The Tweet was the original T37 trainer on which the A37 was based.
Was the A37 also nick named "Super Tweet"? I met an A37 pilot that called it that.
If he was ex-A37 then he's the one to listen to. I've not heard that nickname before.
I like it! Many thanks.
Stick with me two! close it up.

T-37 was the Tweet - A-37 mostly known to us pilots as the Dragonfly.
Awesome 👍🇳🇿

Nice vid
The Strike Master is so much quieter.
the a37 pilot looks so much more in control of his plane... the bac pilot looks messy
Did New Zealand fly A-37s in Vietnam?
No. This is an imported aircraft.
Loose formation flying. Weather must have been bad.
+Bbendfender It was pretty rough at the time.
Either that or the pilot of the Strikemaster has little formation flying experience in general.
My father a37b one missile hit his plane and damage the 70% of the right wing and he can land
