Skunkape just released the remastered Save The World in December, 2020. They are going to update all the games. Additionally, Sam & Max had a new VR game announced. So I don't think they are dead yet...hopefully

This game came out before the remaster, it came out in 2013 but skunkape now have rights to Sam and Max so the remaster is newer than poker night.
