I had a 3090. Frame rates can be a lot higher, depending on the situation. The frame generation is nice for console-like games like Hogwarts Legacy and Ratchet and Clank. In rFactor2 VR the stutters are much reduced. I haven't actually played flight sims much yet but MSFS gets a bit of a boost but is still a bit CPU limited.
This is my first graphics card and I’m just looking at others opinions of it before I unbox it. So far the reviews have been horrible lol and I don’t want to go through another hustle to returning it 😂
@@SHIBUKU-OH Nope. I had several PCs before, but my first build (one and only (for now)) was with the "best" stuff there was in early 2021. Today I decided to UP the game, get a new graphics card for my 1440p 144hz monitor (again from 2021) and just enjoy the high FPS
Could anyone maybe help me. that 3 piece adapter do i have to use it ? Because my prebuilt doesnt have all the plug spots on my power supply but it has 450 watt 12 ping that was plugged into my old gpu can i just plug that into the 4080 super?
Love how you actually skipped the installation part
Exactly i am now sitting with my GPU and PSU and looking for guide😂
@@noxuificationWhat's your question? Maybe i can help
Fair point. Next time I'll do better.
Anyone tell me which kind of cables I need to go from adapter back to PSU? Newb here
thanks for the explanation on the power connectors...
That is one very lucky kid right there! Very nice graphics card.
How did you like the performance gain compared to 3080?

not gonna install the anti-sag bracket?
Didn't seem any need to. It doesn't sag.
@@RobFisherUK Can clearly see it sagging quite a bit in the video, I highly recommend using the bracket
@@hookedupboer oh fair enough; I'll take a closer look.
@@RobFisherUK no worries, about to install one as well when it arrives. There's a video of how to use the bracket on the MSI youtube channel

So? Did you unbox it? You might get pretty lucky with ur model...
@@AltsekBUL not yet. Im saving up for the case and 7300xd and I’ll be ready to unbox
@@SHIBUKU-OH Solid choice! I myself am going to risk with the 4080 S, f it...
@@AltsekBUL Absolutely. I bought it online because the reviews were quite good.
Is this also going to be your first pc?

good choice👍🤜
How many frames are you getting at 1080p
I haven't tested 1080P yet but there is some 4K testing here: th-cam.com/video/9pkAan_gGOk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fwXHg_dy_kdV8LQU
Not recomending 1080p only 2k
Got this exact same card
I bought exactly the same card yesterday and it is totally silent. I love this MSI 4080 Super
my 4080 super has only one connector
1 connector for 3 rail power polls. Need to be from separate vga high power connectors from the power supply.
What a wasted of time
