  • Today, I take another nostalic and historic memory lane road trip. In this episode, I visit the famous gravesite of three famous young men, who all died young, and are all buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, California. All of them died in tragic accidents before their time.
    Gravesite tours include:
Cory La Barrie, the TH-cam star who died on his birthday at the age of 25.
Breezy Reaves Eason Jr., one of the first silent film child stars, known as Universal's Littlest Cowboy.
Christopher Quinn, the son of actor Anthony Quinn. He died at the age of two, after drowning in W.C. Field's backyard pool.
Thanks for joining me on my travels on yet another trip to the past, down memory lane.

Very interesting story about Breezy who I had never heard about either. It does make me wonder how big he would have gotten if he had not been in that tragic accident. You both shared some fascinating old Hollywood history. Great to see you both team up!

Sadly, I didn't know the other 2 children, but I subscribe to Corey La Barrie, and was extremely shocked by his tragic passing. He made a video the night before saying he might get "a little drunk." I worked in funeral service, so you develop somewhat of a "tough outer layer," but the deaths of children and young people always impact you. Enjoyed, as always!

Baby Peggy was, a few years ago, able to leave her footprints and signature at the Vista Theatre in East Hollywood. Where many of her 1920s films premiered. Some very interesting people have footprints there: Keneth Anger, Jonathan Frid, Gene Barry, Ann Robinson,Elvira. The Baby Jane character played by Bette Davis, in the 1962 film was very loosely based on Baby Peggy.

Interesting video as usual. In the recent film by Quentin Tarantino "Once upon a time in Hollywood" Leo DiCaprio's character discusses a character in a book he was reading with the name of "Breezy." Leo's character was waiting to be called to the set and was discussing his book with a precocious little girl actress. I wonder if Quentin, who is a film history buff, came across the name "Breezy" in his research and/or knowledge of Hollywood history. The name grabbed his attention and worked it into his script.

Having a resting place/grave site is so very important. Too many were cremated/can't be found!

Thanks so much again, Steve...does Lalo have a channel we can venture to on those awful days we don't have you? Will we see Burt's updated site soon? Gee...I am starting to sound like you work for me...my sincere apologies!

Hi Steve 🙋🏾‍♀️. Unfortunately I never heard of any of the young men. Even so it's still very interesting And informative AND also heartfelt to know that they left this world so tragically. MAY they continue to rest in peace. Thanks so much for sharing this with me. have A blessed day ‼️✝️🛐☮️💜🙋🏾‍♀️💕💞❤️👍🏾.
