There are a couple of good videos on TH-cam about using a fabric steamer on non-heat friendly wigs. The real key seems to be keep the steamer moving and don’t use it too close to lace fronts on the wig. I had a similar problem with a horn/tusk effect on my Jon Renau Victoria and I have improved it with minimal trimming.
Chiquel Wigs on TH-cam has a super helpful video on the topic of “Fixing a synthetic wig.” In it, she goes into a tutorial on the steaming process. I was wearing hair toppers until last fall when I switched to wigs due to the fact that I no longer have enough hair on top to properly clip in the toppers :-0
Your beautiful and your hair is great too 😊! I had that same hairstyle (when I had nice hair,) but I needed straightening cream to use with my flat-iron. I don't know if that would help with synthetic hair, or if it would fry it. There must be someone out there who's tried it and knows.🤷
I say mission accomplished!! I bet those tusks tickled your nostrils!!! I've heard that you can fix your Barbie doll hair by running hot water over it and then brushing out to dry. Think that was a smart move to use a heat brush iron instead of the regular hot iron or flat iron. Do those wigs come with a 1-800 # for help? Thanks again for all your tips and tricks,,,,, Great help!
I’m learning also. I think you did great! I didn’t know you could style a regular synthetic wig. Thank you.
Thank you. I was afraid I might ruin it but on a low heat I managed quite a lot of change!
Great video!! I'm so proud of you!!
Thank you for all your inspiration!
I hear you! Try a clothing steamer 😊
That is definitely on my to do list:) Thanks
Good job!!! Great video, you look great. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Subscribed. I like synthetic.
@@suzannebunbury2961 Thank you! I hope to have a couple up before the end of the month:)

Yes, a steamer is my next tool to play with. I’m glad you didn’t have to trim much. Sad to cut what won’t grow back ;) Thanks for watching
