@@IDreamOfWigs Thank you so much! Yes, it’s really hard to step outside our box and try something new and different. I said “iced” meaning frosted like a cinnamon roll lol with blonde highlights. I had to use a lot of makeup to make it work but it taught me that we can really push our boundaries with hair color:)

@@jaffasmum17 Hi, yes, this color is gorgeous, especially if you want a realistic look. My circumference is 21.25” There is apx 3/4” of room to extend the straps. So my cap would likely fit you. That said, there is an industry standard of 15% variations on size so your cap might come in larger (fingers crossed.) The color and versatility on this wig are worth a try:) Please let me know if you get it and if it fits!

@@IDreamOfWigs Thanks! I love it too. I think the light shade is right in my ballpark. Not a dark red. My family said I was strawberry blonde but it just looked like light brown with blonde highlights to me. The other one I always got was - Dishwater blonde… so rude lol

@@gerrieshapiro2147 Definitely shiny right out of the box as all basic synthetics are but easily dulled by dry shampoo, talcum powder or, sometimes I just use a little cornstarch from the kitchen;) Hope that helps.

Thanks Karin! Yes, it looks just as real in person! I do have a blonde brow pencil and I love it. I was wearing dark roots that day so had the brown on but when you change wig colors - you must change brow colors too 😉

You are absolutely correct! Shaving my head turned out to be the best trick to keeping my wig secure. Those short buzz cut hairs are like a wig grip that’s glued to your head. I don’t even need a grip anymore! My thin fine hair was so silky - even my wig grip would slip up. It takes an act of courage but I highly recommend everyone give it a try. Thanks, that’s a good point. I made the video after hearing a lot of people talking about the issue of wigs riding up and had to work with the wigs I had. I’ll try to get my hands on a pixie wig and do another demonstration of where the wig should sit. My camera set up and studio (bathroom) lighting needs work as well lol

The buzz cut makes my whole head work like a velvet wig grip. Works better than glue or grip! Not only has it streamlined my wig wearing experience but I’ve really grown to love my buzzed head look too:)

Thank you. I’m in the wig groups here and there and this problem comes up so often, I thought a video would be helpful. We have to help each other on the journey:)

Sizing is a whole other issue in wigs. Sadly there is no real industry standard and even within a manufacturer you will find varying sizes. Each wig is constructed of stretchy material by humans with varying weights of fiber… There is no way to determine fit until you try her on, I’m afraid. The purpose of this video is to alert people that they may feel the wig is too small when in fact they’re just wearing it incorrectly. That said, the industry is starting to make more large and petite sizes. Now that you know how to wear your wig on your skull and not pulled down onto your neck, I hope you find a comfortable fit.
