"The Path Guided by Dafa [Great Law]
Though you and I don’t know each other
We both live on the same celestial body
      Our backgrounds differ
Yet with common values of human life
Humankind has reached the final moment in history
Lives are all waiting for the Creator to come to the world
Because of this, I tell you the truth
Do not be dogmatic by following modern notions and conduct
Gods have been choosing lives all along
Amid kindness and evil, you decide for yourself
The path guided by Dafa has no doomsday
      January 2, 2015
      ***
      Why Did You Come Here
All are waiting for the Creator’s salvation at the end times
Before demise comes, the Fa principles that save people are spreading
Yet people chase after fame and gain
What’s acquired in a lifetime’s effort cannot be carried away with you
      Coming and going-you alone
In a busy life you’ve forgotten why you came here
Before descending, most of you were Kings in your heavenly kingdoms
Giving up your divine bodies to save the heavenly beings
Gain in the human world is not important
Connect your divine destiny, remake yourself
Seek the truth, break free from delusion
Fulfill the wish you came with to the world-that’s your great joy
      January 5, 2016"
Master Li Hongzhi (Hong Yin V, from Falun Dafa teachings)

This song is Jewish Yemenite song dated to 16 -17 century, written by the great Rabbi Shalom Shabazi. Song perform mainly at weddings, Original version contain few lines in Hebrew and few lines in Arabic. Main idea of this song : Always trust G-d, even if any other door closed on you, G-d's door always open for you.

It is a shame so many forget this connection. Jews lived in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman for almost 2,000 years! Many of the Jewish tribes in Arabia converted to Islam in the 7th century, and its why Arabs and Jews, even many of the European Jews, are so genetically/ethnically related. It would be scientifically accurate to say Arabs and Jews are genetic siblings

      Im nin'alu (Se se trancarem)
Se se trancarem as portas dos generosos
As portas das alturas não se trancam
Deus vive no alto acima dos querubins
Tudo por sua vontade se elevará
      Deus vive
      Deus vive
As rodas e engrenagens fazem ruido
      Deus vive . . .

Actually, I took away the opposite sense Vikas. It reminds listeners of the tremendous ABSENCE of Yemeni or other Arab Jewish presence/contributions to society...they have all but been 'disappeared' by ashkeNazim majority in Israel. They continue to be second class to Euro Jewish Israelis...but not as dehumanized as Palestinians. Ofra is but 1 voice of the rich cultural Yemeni heritage and more that has been suppressed or destroyed.

They can live side by side with the majority without problems or they can make non sense boycott and terrorism and suffer consequences. Even when they do so, their lifes in Israel is better then life of Arabians living in their countries. so you are wrong, anyway.

Old Story I never get tired of telling, the first time I heard this beautiful voice was when her album "Shaday" came out. I was in bed listening to a college radio station right about to fall asleep then I heard this song, I jumped out of bed, ran to the phone, called the radio station and asked who was that?! before the week was out I had that album / CD and several since then.
When the "Prince of Egypt" came out I kept pointing out, her voice was actually holding up the movie, no disrespect to any other singer on that soundtrack.
Her voice was the one that caught me.

If there be no mercy left in the world,
The doors of heaven will never be barred.
    The Creator reigns supreme,
and is higher than the angels
All, in His spirit, will rise By His nearness,
    His life-giving breath
flows through them. And they glory in His name
    From the moment of genesis,
    His creations grow,
    Captivating and more beautiful.

    Translation:
The Chorus is indeed about the trust in God it says even if the doors of generous are locked the doors of heaven are not.
But the rest of the poem talks about Ezekiel's vision as described on the bible. It describes humans singing to God just like the angels are.
El chay meromam al keruvim = Living God stands above the angles
Kulam Berucha Yaalu= All of them will bless him
Ki hem Eley Kisao Karovim = Because they are close to his throne

@@pepinillosazucarados6743 I translated into Portuguese, if you want.
      Im nin'alu (Se se trancarem)
Se se trancarem as portas dos generosos
As portas das alturas não se trancam
Deus vive no alto acima dos querubins
Tudo por sua vontade se elevará
      Deus vive
      Deus vive
As rodas e engrenagens fazem ruido

Powiedzcie sami, jak byłoby nudno, gdybyśmy wszyscy byli tacy sami …😉😁 pozdrawiam wszystkich z pięknej, ciekawej i życzliwej wszystkim dobrym ludziom Polski ! 👋🇵🇱🍀

The Yemenite Songs version (I guess, strictly speaking it's the 2nd version, but the first solo one?) is great, too. But the '88 "English mix" from Shaday has its charms as its the first one I heard. There are a couple subsequent remixes which aren't so great.
