Most carbs have a return throttle spring which takes out any issues with slop. It's also a safety device, so if your throttle servo fails, it should (depending on the servo) return the throttle to idle.
thanks for the vid, picked up a used plane with sloppy throttle and was looking for a fix, realized I had exactly what I needed from a damaged 30 size heli head for free!

Great tip. I use ball links. Put a washer on the top so the ball link cant come off if it happens to pop off the ball.
