Or if the minimum sentence for attempting to escape prison was lowered by one or two years in which case people who are serving their additional sentences would be furious. No he only had weed which was only illegal because of a federal law that states wanted to ignore and when States chose to ignore it they could so now you have kids freely vaping weed who can't legally buy cigarettes 😂 meanwhile he just got out after 5 years for in the amount of weed that wouldn't be a crime today in GUESSING he's in a state that legalized weed... Which makes perfect sense... Picture of alcohol was made illegal oh wait it was it's called prohibition when that ended they released people from jail who went to jail for it and they corrected their records the record TV set obstruction of the record either set obstruction of justice or they cleared it completely this hasn't happened with weed because it isn't federally legal therefore states have the ability to forgive crimes involving them but they don't HAVE TO... This becomes a good topic when somebody has a history that contains pretty much marijuana and marijuana alone... Not only should you question if jail is the right thing... But the system itself should be questioned.. from a more stable community the damaged wood and could be negligible at least on a larger scale but on a community level this setback that minority community for a long time... When someone is a minority and they are considered a felon no one is going to add all things or maybe they just smoked a blunt or they like weed or they sold weed 😂 and because of the type of drug that weed was labeled as the amount of time people were getting for it wasn't reasonable either... Basically the punishments line up more with the race or person more likely to have the drugs then the drug itself drugs known to be held by more favorable communities would have a lighter punishment and do have lighter punishments while drugs known to be favored by less favorable communities they will be treated more harshly than logically reasonable. How would you feel if you we're selling weed to make ends meet trying to make your way to college you get busted in the summer between college and high school never end up playing sports when you get out of jail your a permanent felon you can't find a good job in your label is dangerous and when you get out the laws and rules of completely changed so that what was illegal when you went in was no longer illegal when you went out so what you did to get in trouble isn't even a crime or a problem 😂 American shouldn't have to do their life over or anything like that but they definitely should do what it can to erase the damage it's done basically it's not America's fault that he didn't go to college but it's America's fault that once he got out that he couldn't resume that path because America's view on something was flawed and it acknowledged it without changing how it was treating people based on its past views. You should follow the law. And when the law changes so does context. If murder becomes legal when people in jail for murder should be let out. Whenever weed smokers and sellers go to jail and get out and what was it illegal is no longer illegal when they get out then the message being communicated isn't that we follow the law because of the moral implications order and Justice we follow the law because the government tells us to and nothing else😂 it's not about right or wrong with better for the greater good if when the government changes its opinion it can't acknowledge people that it has damaged with the original opinion 💯 and that was always damaged I mean you get caught selling weed 2 times and you'll end up in prison do it with coke and they will give you a house and something called a diversionary program in 38 States find you two times is a very specific number the next time either side is going to prison for a long time due to the three strikes rule but one of them there's a clear attempt of rehabilitation in the other one it's more of sending a message through excessive punishment turning incarceration into a lifestyle rather than rehabilitation

It was HIS fault for throwing his life away over an ounce of weed, because he valued getting high over anything else he could have done with his life.
