We were so lucky to find the estate sale on Sunday! I just love estate sales - my husband however is not a big fan, lol. And I love doing thrift hauls because it gives me a chance to "breathe" between flip videos that are so much more work to edit, haha!! Anyway - thank you so much!!!
I am always impressed with your finds! You have such a good eye for the pieces and the ability to look at their potential! I love silver pieces and even silver plated pieces. I’m excited to see your transformations.
Great haul! The red and white items would look great for Christmas. Love all the silver. I use my silver to decorate at Christmas too. I fill gravy boats with faux snow, a bottle brush tree and vintage reindeer. Tie a little velvet ribbon on the handle and it look’s beautiful. Works well with sugar bowls that you find that don’t have lids! Looking forward to the flips with the other items!
You look so pretty , love your hair too! I'm very jealous, you had quite a haul ! I love how you tell us what your ideas are to do with it❤amazing 20$ bag😄love to hear you laugh, nice silver things my fave is the silver heart ,never saw one like that before.milk glass is my vibe too! Looking forward to Saturday ! Thanks Racheal❤
Thank you so much. It is so nice to be getting back to more of a "normal" routine! :) I love milk glass and it's so fun to find nice pieces for a good price!! :) Thank you again!!
🎼 Silver and Gold 🎶 and copper and rose gold 🎵LOL, I missed those two items in the show, must have been too engrossed with the movie. LOL Oh, I ought to finish the silver, then you pick up a salt and pepper, ROFLMAO. You had a really good haul on silver. So many cute items. Vaseline glass is another glow in the dark glass. The goblets and candlestick are, I believe, Avon Cape Cod. My favorite things were of course the silver then the coat rack thingy. Milk glass is always a go to for me, you sure got your $20 worth! Dang, wish I had been in Spokane, I may have been there before you. hehe Have a wonderful week, my friend, and glad you 2 got to get out on a junk run.
I totally forgot to mention aged brass, lol!! And haha - I kept getting distracted and forgetting to actually finish up the silver! :) It was so nice to get out and do something "normal" on a Sunday - it felt really good!! And I was so happy we stumbled across the estate sale - made my day!! I wish my poor hubby enjoyed estate sales more though - I swear he thinks they are haunted by the owners and their ghosts are watching us pick through their stuff, haha. I am trying to convert him though!! Thank you so much my friend! :)
@@theeclecticcottagespokane Normal is a good thing. You were excite to show what all you got, I guess you can be excused for not doing all the silver at once. LOL Oh your poor husband! hehe "Honey, what do you think of this box?' Lift off lid and BOO the owner pops out. 🤣 Have a wonderful week!
So many pretty things! I also love gravy boats. Why? haha I can't say. The bowl-like hobnail piece with the holes is a candle holder for various sized candles. Pillars to tapers. Very pretty. Being listed as "Vintage Fenton Candle Holder 6 candles Milk Glass Hobnail Patent #3541569" in the $30.00 dollar range. Great find!
Ohhhh the first three pieces from goodwill stole my heart (and their prices were incredible!) what a fun haul. Looking forward to your video on ornaments!
The red cordial glasses and the candlestick are Avon and you should be able to find them as vintage Avon Cape Cod dishes. We spent years buying a service for 12 with all the extra pieces for my husband’s sister. It was not cheap in the 80’s and I’m sure it’s still not cheap. You, dear Rachel, got a steal on the red glass, hobnail milk glass and the silver so you should definitely make some money on that treasure haul. You look and sound more rested and for that I am glad. Maybe living a cozy travel trailer lifestyle for a bit will give you time to recoup your energy and for that I too will be glad…for you and us. Looking forward to seeing the transformation of the hook shelf because even though I love chickens, that French rooster needs to be replaced! I’m also curious about your plans for that small book shelf/curio shelf. I’ll certainly be watching!!!:):):)
@@theeclecticcottagespokane my grandmas don’t have a marking either but I know it’s old..how cool would be a candle poured into one of them?!..google lens your right sometimes is no help..yeah don’t matter they are gorga
I recently found several silver pieces similar to what you found….on a free pile at a yard sale . I love the tarnish. Do you polish yours or leave them tarnished? Your ruby glassware may be Avon. Not sure.
Love all the solver pieces and the hobnail white pieces! Lovely thrift hail. Have a blessed day! 🤗
Thank you so much! You too!! :)
Rachel, glad things have slowed down and getting back to normal for you. Good haul. Thanks for sharing your shopping trip!
It is nice to finally get back to some semblance of a "normal" routine for sure! :) Thank you so much!!
I especially loved the kitchen cabinet with the rooster. Can't wait for the upcycle! But all your treasures were great. 😊 ~Laura
I thought it looked like a super fun piece to redo!! :) Thank you!!
Thank you, I can wait to see what you do with them❣️
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you so much!!
The very first three things you showed are gorgeous. Glad you are leaving as is.❤
I agree - I think they will be perfect to put in my Christmas displays just the way they are! :)

What great finds, Rachel! I always get so excited when I find vintage silver pieces. Love them! ❤
Me too!! I just think they are such a pretty addition to a display!! Thank you so much!
The red glass candlestick and small goblets are from Avon. My mom had a giant collection. They had plates, bowls, platters, and other tableware.
Thank you for the info! I did find them online - there were a lot of different pieces made in the same color and pattern - so interesting!! :)
Great haul Rachel! 💗
Thank you!! 😊

I love the tarnished silver - it just adds that perfect bit of shimmer with a bit of history as well. :) Thank you so much!!

I think the small holes in the milk glass container are for candles and put flowers in the center.
I think you're right about the candles!! :) Thank you!!
Rachel: you hit pay dirt, especially at the estate sale. Very nice pieces for the home. Carol from California.
It was definitely a good shopping trip for a change!! :) Thank you!

I love your haul. The silver set of 3 candlesticks was my favorite
Nice haul. could the circles in the white pedestal bowl be for candles?
Thank you! And yes, that's exactly what they are! :)
I inherited my grandmas very fancy gravy boat with claw feet..no makers mark
None of these had any maker's marks either . . . and Google lens wasn't a ton of help, but oh well - they are pretty!! haha.

Hi Rachel, im not positive but the white milk glass pitcher may glow so try a black light on it
Try all your milk glass
I will do that!! :)
