It should be known that Milunka Savić was awarded the highest honors of France (twice), England and America. She also received a pension and an apartment in Paris from France, but she refused all that and lived proudly in her country of Serbia, where she ended her life..
Also, the neat thing was that in early 2020 or so, Serbia gave her third highest military award. Also, they dedicated a statue of her as well
I just went to see the statue, it's nice to see that we continue to honor her and maintain her memory because she lacked recognition during her life. Thank you for the info!

I think if you're going to react to Sabaton's music, do it and if the listeners want to hear the story of then Lady of the dark, refer them instead to Sabaton History here on TH-cam. Have seen some of your vlogs with Sabaton songs and you talk and you have to tell the story behind the song, Let the Sabaton historian at Sabaton History do it. But you, as a Frenchman, can't handle it, but show yourself in a stiff shirt and show yourself good, the music itself you can't react to at all.

A few years before this song and video came out, I think I read about her in a military history magazine. Each issue the magazine would do a one page story on some historical military figure.
So cool that she is still remembered and honoured as she deserves!
