You know Laura and Aaron , I watch every one of your videos raptly, eagerly soaking up your experience and recommendations, and appreciating your excitement, positivity and good nature in all things. I cannot understand why anyone would ever give you a thumbs down, it utterly perplexes me and the only thing I can think is that these people are simply salty/jealous, and begrudge the result of your hard work.
Thank you guys. My garden is becoming something passer bys comment on and I see people stop and point at different parts as they walk past, it’s utterly gratifying to know I’ve brought a tiny semblance of happiness to others as you have so hugely gifted to me 🌺❤️

When you mentioned the tulips vs the daffodil "fizzlers" my attention perked up. I would LOVE to hear which tulips don't "fizzle" for you! I'll have my pen and notepad handy - which I usually do when you start describing your plantings! Your descriptions of Ninebarks and their drought resistance, for example, sent me on a wide search (I live in Italy) for them... needless to say, months later, and after one of the most severe droughts we've ever experienced here in the Piedmont Region, I now grow some 6 different varieties of Ninebarks... oh, and we just planted some 450+ daffodils inspired by one of your videos!
Such a pleasure to tune into your channel!!

After your video on drills and augers I treated myself to one with an auger specifically to plant bulbs. So for the first time in years I was physically able to plant over 700 bulbs on my very small garden located in our busy downtown district. It gives me so much pleasure to share my garden with strangers who take a minute from their busy days to wander in, and next spring there will be even more color to see! I hope you know how encouraging your videos are and how much inspiration they give people. Thanks to both you and Aaron for the great work you do. 👍👍👍

Laura, I love how you planted in groups of 5 bulbs per hole. In retrospect, I wish that I had planted my daffodils in groups last fall, because, although the flowers were gorgeous, it would have been a much more beautiful show this past spring if I had planted them in bouquets. I still need to plant some new varieties of daffodils bulbs today, so thank you for this idea! I can't wait to see your gorgeous display in the spring.

It’s like wow! I just moved out of a mobile home into my own country home. I've gone from planting a couple of flowers with a couple of hand tools to a tractor, cart and spade type shovel to plant my first two flower beds which are now full of hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, crocuses and grape hyacinths (muscari) and edged with creeping phlox. I can hardly wait to see the results of my efforts. I will continue to watch your videos because I still have about a half acre of woods to plant. It will be a big job because I have several loads of trash to be removed and hauled to a landfill, then I can plant daffodils which will be scattered throughout that wooded area. I appreciate your videos because I’m learning about tools (your auger) which will make my dreams a little easier to fulfill. Thank you.

It’s funny how I am maybe even more excited to see your flowers come up in the spring versus my own. Your older videos inspired me to order from Color Blends several months back and I was so excited when they finally shipped to me.

Laura can I just say you are adorable! Lol And I love watching you. I just planted my first bunch of tulips yesterday! I have a tiny Chicago yard so not much room. I had 6 potted Impatiens over the summer.🌼 Broke my heart when I had to take them out of the pots the other day. They did amazing all summer long! Can"t wait for next spring!!!

The area by your new flower shed is crying out for a picnic bench it will be amazing when all the sunflowers are out again next year. It looks lovely well done.

It's going to look very delightful. And very natural because they do kind of grow groups out in the wild. It will add that Meadow look that you want so well. I just can't wait till spring.

Daffodils have always been one of my favorite flowers. I call them the bravest little flowers in the garden, because they begin to come up in January, when it is still so cold. You have lovely gardens and I always check out what's Laura doing today as I eat my breakfast. Looking so forward to seeing it next Spring.

I ordered from Colorblends this year and from a few other vendors and the Colorblends bulbs were much less expensive and much bigger than the other supplier bulbs. Definitely will be doing the bulk of my ordering with them next year

Would you consider, doing an insert in the video, of an overhead shot of the garden, with a cross, to mark where you are, or start the days project? The new area is so big, and I sometimes find it a bit hard to figure out😂 All, I can think about, is how beautiful it will be, not only by spring - but in 5 and 10 years time 😍 I think, I would be VERY tempted, to give those arbs all the fertilizer, they could take! Just because, the moment, you can no longer see all the surrounding houses, will make such a difference to the whole feeling in the garden 🙂

I’m so excited to plant dafs and tulips 🌷 for the first time in my garden!! Zone 8a Texas! Going to post a tutorial video on pre-chilling! Although I will be planting closer to January! 😂❤️🌷 THANK YOU for motivating me to go outside and do what I love.

I think next spring it’s going to look beautiful. I’m excited about the potting shed and love that you put big windows in it. I think you said it was going to have a chandelier in it. That’s good, because wouldn’t it be nice to have a mini fridge with refreshments and a comfy chair to sit in to take a break from all your garden work. I love it.

It's so exciting planting bulbs now in anticipation for spring to come. It will be a beautiful show for sure! The great thing about daffodils is that the wild critters leave them alone too.

That's a lot of bulbs, daffodils and color come spring. You do it so quickly! Wish I could move that quickly. I live in East Central Alabama with lots of rock, clay, sandy soil. So it takes much longer to auger holes here. Anyway, thank you for the bulb planting video. I look forward to a follow-up VLOG this next spring. Hopefully, you will do that.

The most bulbs I have planted in one go is 500 +. Backbreaking but awesome in the spring into early summer. You can also do it lasagne style (mixing different bulbs for different flowering times in layers) which some local council gardener told me as I put the last of 100s in. Bit late & after the event. Have used in Spring pots and really impressed with the effect.

Perhaps when you create your new meadow section along the south green path you can re-intall your low waterfall feature there? I love that its not a pond, and I keep imagining that it would lend itself perfectly to linking with a dry creek bed (w/riverrock) that could meander through the meadow garden. 😍

Good morning, Laura ☕️ You crushed it! 🙌🏻 1,600 bulbs done ✔️ That Power Planter sure did make it a lot easier and faster. Although, watching in real time sure does show how “slow” it goes. Great job! 👏🏻👏🏻 Have. Blessed Day 😊🐈
