    First review I come across that shows facts, rather than (biased) opinions. Especially noise has been discussed over and over again. But all of them were opinions, none of them actually measured the decibels. So this is refreshing to see. Absolutely great review. Well done guys!

      Thanks! We put a lot of work into getting something that would fair between the different helmets and clear for people to see. Glad to hear you liked it and you can look forward to more!

      @@Championhelmets When I tried that helmet, it didn't fit me well and, although being carbon (but the chin bar), it seemed a little bit too weight for what I wanted. The noise I couldn't know it (now I know, your results seem accurate). A nolan/xlite intercom, I didn't like it. The top air intake seemed to me a little bit too bulky... Maybe that's why it ventilates so well and why it's a little bit noisier.

    • @Championhelmets

      That's all fair points. Have you found a helmet that suits you yet?

      @@Championhelmets Yes, I did. With a good discount, I bought the AGV Sport Modular. The SHOEI Neotec II was my preferred one but its weight seemed a failure to me. Now, I know that, while moving on the motorcycle (dynamic test), the AGV SM can be noisy (specially depending on your screen and buffeting), and some small quality draw backs... but in general terms, it's a good helmet. From my personal point of view, Shoei should work on the weight and change that so expensive sena 20S out of the helmet :-)
      Best regards

    Hi, you can mount the visor from the 1003 and the wind noise problems are gone:) Try it... :)

    Got it some time ago to use it as a daily, only used it on the grom until now and the noise is crazy, much worse than my RX7. It all comes from the top vent, probably should have made it to fit closer to the shell and not stick up that much. Except that it is a great helmet and less than 1500 grams in my xs head, but probably gonna go back to hjc for a flip up in the future.

    1:47 what's the point of this all carbon, when HJC made RPHA 90, their non carbon flip up weighing 1550g in size XXL? This X-Lite is not that light apparently.

      @Championhelmets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We were also surprised at how heavy the X-1004 Ultra Carbon came out, though this is still to be expected in the modular segment. Though there are lighter modular helmets on the market, the 1600 gram mark is also where the Shoei Neotec 2 and the Schuberth C4 Pro sit.
