This poor guy lost his job because of this -- no one wanted to believe that garden gnomes could come to life and murder their owners -- but he once had a friend who was into black magic, and he knew what a spell could occasionally do. I remember learning of how Roman concrete can last for thousands of years in fine condition. Meanwhile today's version comes with all manner of potholes and deficiencies.
