Crazy cuz I was 24 during this..I was one of the MC’s in this battle..This was during a break so I asked if I could go out on the street and smoke a cigarette so I could watch this so they let me and one of the other rappers go out there and we watched it live..didn’t do as good as I wanted to in the battle but it was still the best experience in my life..man to be that age back then again

@Michaell Alexander Yes he was right in that sense period..as the biggest Rocafella fan, Kanye being my fav artist of all time & Jay my favorite Rapper/M.C..Ye was the wildcard really in life to transition from just producing to dreaming of being a rapper at a commercial level let alone being respected & being the guy who would continue a legacy that was ended abruptly..buttt even I know Kanye is 1 of the greatest selling & in general Hip-Hop artists of all time/generation but he can’t be Top 5 when he’s not a legitimate M.C..all the greats or most ppl who have their own personal lists ..guaranteed in their Top 5’s ..at least 60% aka 3 or even 2 out of the 5 are M.C’s period
