⚠️ INFORMATION UPDATE⚠️
- As of now, you are required to engage the pursuit prompt in order to engage the grappler, just like a pushbar. It's a new patch recently made by PRC
- The shortcut for the Grappler has been moved to "J" instead of "F"
- After testing it for a while, the grappler may engage a PIT maneuver during a pursuit. This is unconfirmed and varies from pursuit to pursuit

In my opinion, the PIT system will never be “obsolete”, but it will certainly be less popular. The reason i say this is because the grappler is a game pass item, meanwhile standard pushbars are completely free.
Good point, just yesterday I played again with the pushbar this time and it feels more consistent though takes more hits
The grappler can never replace the wraparound bar. If you try it on a car where the rear wheels are further forward, like most pickup trucks and suv's, it just... doesn't work.

While the grappling bar is also good but it’s hard to catch and might have to practice
tbh after using this feature in many police chases, i can safely say that using the grappler is just going to take a lot of practice and luck to get a car to stop. ram bars aren't obsolete though.
i suggest using the grappler for cars during slower chases and ram bars for high speed chases.
now the only thing i could ask for is if PRC could add a star chaser attachment (a device that shoots out a GPS tracker dart) for police, which'd be amazing. it'd give a purpose for slower police cars and the ability to use spike strips/stop sticks more often without having to chase them down. ik air support is a thing, but it can be unreliable sometimes when you're chasing somebody else that isn't in the helicopter's range. just an idea though, im sure PRC will totally not consider adding it in the near future.
If you have a friend, you could combo with one having the push bar and one with the grappler. Push bar pits them, slowing them down, then grappler goes in and snags the wheel while they are slowed down
Unless we could easily remove the tracker, it would be extremely annoying for criminals.
this is why I still use the ram bar, looks better too anyway… dunno, I’ll give the grappler a try
As someone who wasn’t aware of this update and got into a pursuit with sheriffs recently and I swear I was laughing at how easily I got away from that dude until my truck stopped and I realized that grapplers just ended my happiness…and you know the rest of the story after that.
I feel like it's to OP but something weird about it when u use it on not wanted people it has the reset button but u think they are wanted and get out and try to arrest them but just to shame your self! Anyways good video❤ also about the RWD or FWD or AWD problem they made it like that so no bugs happen like when the grappler attaches it's a code to stop the car and Have it like it has no wheels and no engine so yeah! In conclusion they made it like that so no bugs can happen or like the car flings or flies!

Seeing a cop car fitted with a grappler chasing me makes me drive even more aggressively than I already do in the Chevlon Captain (Chevrolet Caprice) as I don't feel like using faster cars. I can still outdrive them though if I make enough hard turns at opportune moments!
the grappler is a common tactic used by SWAT Officers in irl police chases if you can't pit you lock they tires

Rambar is more reliable, but again, if the car is full hp or close to full hp, unless you get a really good pit, you’ll have to hit it multiple times before it stops. Grappler is one and done.

Fun fact of grappler high speed chase that’s what we use in real life when a car attempts to getaway from a police car the police car would use grapplers to stop the car from any harm true or not watch the police body cams in real life that’s how it works
I own the gamepass, but I'll never use the grappler. I find normal push bars even without wraparound far too easy to use considering most people drive terribly during pursuits. Haven't even tried the grappler and don't plan on it atm

They need to make it make sense, it shouldnt be able to completely stop the car even if thats what is does irl, ive been in traffic stops, suddenly i get BASHED by another 4WD SUV cop car with it on, i cant move the car at all cuz its grappled and i end up spinning out and getting push a mile and a half, once its on you can do anything i think it definatly needs a nerf / debuf or somthing it just instantly ends a chase or somthing and makes it abit boring
the game is already criminal sided in my opinion, so i think its fine. this was what the cops needed
@@1diagramuel1 i get what you mean but litiratly 15 minutes ago a dumb cop (i don even know how he ahs teh gamepass) grappled my car and refused to stop for like 5 minutes straight, there should atleast be some resistance so it can snap if ur cars powerfull enough or somthing

@@velocity7786 even if a player is in pursuit, they can still become unwanted, they can reset to avoid being arrested, they have faster cars, they can drift while cops cannot. thats just a few. im not starting an argument im just stating my opinion.

Well the wheel grabber is what it is called.. is actually nit limiting your speed in real life too.. so if they limit your speed it would make the game very unrealistic.

Grapplers can be considered OP, though in my experience as a public server cop. I've seen many times where criminals get the upper hand, one example is wasting their wanted timer by simply staying dead so cops can't arrest them

@@greenlamboOne of the rare moments a crim has some side of gameplay in their favor. In the end the cops should be punished in that way due to it being their own negligence in killing the criminal. With even a slightly coordinated team you can just camp spawns and when ambulance comes just arrest them.
@@AeroBeIIAh yes… car stealing. One of the worst designed robberies in the entire game. You steal the car with a giant beacon over you the entire time. Then end up being forced to go to the only spot in the entire game where you can sell it. The chop shop also happens to be close to the police station too… lovely game design. Then after all that you end up stranded without a vehicle.

The design could've been better because it does look a little ugly on some cars, and its a little thiner than the actual one in real life, overall tho its good for pursuits.

Bruh is it just me or everyone is just now teaming as crims? It's not even showing your OP it just shows you are a weak person who needs help or you gonna get arrested every 5 minutes. And they act like "they are pro" meanwhile they are too scared to use anything but the LMG, shotgun, sniper, and AK. They don't use anything else and they are always in packs. It just shows they are truly weak just hiding behind tons of guys with OP guns.
