That's a lot of unique lists :) However, there are several illegal lists: - 22nd place: Elendil and Rumil can't be allied without a hero of valour/legend from Lorien - 13th place: GT and Azog's legion are a yellow alliance - 4th place: Less than 50% of the models have the harad keyword Thanks for sharing all these lists, it's great to see the meta in different parts of the world :)
Yeah the meta down under is quite different. Not always about the power lists. Theme goes along way and that's something I love to see and play against :D
@@leonk.3739 I tried looking in the rules and didn't find where it says you need valour/lenged for alliances? Could you point me to the rule where it says? Thanks so much!
4th place is an illegal list because less than 50% of the models have the harad keyword which is required in army of the south (it's only 6 out of 15 because the Mumak is even a separate model and Mumak war leader is also without the harad keyword. It would have been a legal Far harad list but then you don't gain the benefits of the grand army of the south LL (the free heroic when against enemy leader as well as the poisoned weapons on the haradrim).
Wow, savage comments today - yes, some of the lists were "illegal," but a) two could be easily changed (swap one Mahud for a Haradrim, swap Rumil for Haldir), and b) I got the feeling from hearing the event described that this was a fun tournament. It's okay, guys, I don't think anyone cared in the end . . .
I'll be honest, the 'x list is technically illegal' comments are some of my least favourite parts of the MESBG (and broader tabletop gaming) internet. Minor issues like that almost never impact results, and I get irrationally annoyed by how quick people are to jump on them after the fact
Hahaha mate the No Might Angmar is actually amazing at lower points. Dwimmerlaik is one of the most underrated models, means the opponent runs out of their resources even quicker and the barrow wights can do their job. Can also now say it’s won a tournament so can’t complain at all!
13th place is also illegal. It is a yellow allience with no heros of valour/legend. Who controlled the army lists? There are so many with this mistake😂
Great video - always learn something seeing how people construct Lists with different armies, especially when a List that looks 'weak' on paper performs surprisingly well. Looking through the comments here on 'illegal' Lists I would find a video where you discuss the change requiring Heroes of Valour or Legend to ally with Convenient allies very interesting. Personally I think it does more harm than good. It is far more thematic, to me, for a less renowned hero to be leading a small allied contingent than some legendary warrior.
Congrats to Josh and Jordy (enjoying his stream and instagram amazing skills at painting), and to all armies, i like dol guldur list and rutabi and amdur list, i am building something similar.Very nice run though all the armies, thanks a lot. Cheers.
It's not only a yellow alliance, it's an illegal army list. Rumil is a hero of fortitude so he can't be used in a yellow alliance without Haldir/Celeborn/Galadriel and he can't lead 13 minis
I'm new in MESBG and English not my native language, so will be great if someone help. In rule book: "Might can be used to help a model succeed in tests such as Jump, Climb or Thrown Rider test" So it means that I can't use Might in Leap or Swim tests??? Tnx for video btw.
Thanks for the comment. You are able to use might for leap and swim tests. In the rule book is used the phrase "such as" which indicates that jump, climb, or thrown rider tests are just some examples of tests you could use might for
How did no-one catch the like three illegal lists? They should have been disqualified really and the TO needs to make sure to thoroughly check people's lists as they sign up. I would be quite salty if this happened in a tournie I was attending, I'd feel cheated. Easy mistake to make but damn hard to untie at the end of the day.
@@ConquestCreations 22nd: rumil is a hero of fortitude and needs a hero of valour/legend to ally with elendil. 4th: less than 50% of the army has the harad keyword. What is the issue with place 13 being a yellow alliance?
@@wolftrem4206 There's not a single hero of valour/legend when there should be 1 for GT and 1 for Azog's Legion

Interesting to see the rankings of names and armies. I notice alot of Evil armies seem to be popular at the moment.
Thanks for all your videos! You've been a huge help!
I’m always happy to see an Army of Thror list 😍😍
I always enjoy these videos! It’s fascinating to see what people come up with for lists!
Amazing! 👌 I love these videos! I am always very curious to see the ranking and I learn a lot 🙂🙏

Elendil and rumil is yellow alliance no?
Cheers for the army reviews, love those vids!
Yeaaa, that army list is illigal. Rumil is not a hero of valour.
