True. Traffic jams used to be one of the worst issues in Lebanon before driving became a luxury. Now cars that are actually driving has become a bit rarer.
when u go back home, visit a labenese restaurant in bankstown and see how they will fight at the counter when paying up.. it's a friendly (I Will Pay, I Will Pay scenario ) but seems like they will end up punching each other. typical labenese.. lovely ppl..

that dude making exchanges probably does exact rate because the fluctuation is so much. hes able to keep it as USD for stability, and use his other Lira to exchange in the morning and then withdraws every afternoon for a 10-30% gain in profits, he could repeat that daily anytime the rate drops in the morning. he probably keeps exact rates so people like you can bring him more business, because you both came away wanting to do more business with him for being trustworthy.
