The Marshall MG 100 FX is the reason why i stopped using Tube Amps No reason to this Amp Gives you All the Sweet and hard punch Tones you Want..and its much more reliable than any Tube Amps got mine when it first came out and Nine Years Later it still sounds like it did Nine years ago no issues Paid almost $600 dollars for it. It came Stock with Two Celestion Speakers a Brilliant Combo Amp for sure

I picked up this half stack about a week ago at a pawn shop for $390. I really like it. I grew up with Marshall’s all around (my Dad’s). I think this sounds fairly comparable to the older 70’s heads that are still in my Dad’s arsenal (and still going strong).
Since it’s obviously used, it didn’t come with the manual or the footswitch. Thanks for the vid tutorial/demo. I’m still figuring it out. 👍🏼

Marshall MG 100 FX is brilliant..pure Marshall power and tone..i would choose the Marshall MG 100 FX over any DSL Marshall..and all day...

      Angelo I had an MG 100 1x12 IN 2006..sold it for a TSL 60 W 2X12....
The MG was louder and had a better metal sound .
Now Iv got another MG IN 2020 ...TSL IS HISTORY.
Thats what happens when you listen to gear snobs
      And not your own ears.

thank you thank you man. I needed to look at this. the thing I like about dsl is you don't have to crank it all the way up to bring in the effects.

you just have to buy it, its amazing i got one about a year ago and the sound wth the metal zone gives to the amp a high mid range

Why so many people hates MG series? Sound really good, I own this one in 2x12 combo version, I love it...

I have an old MG. I used to think the amp was just terrible. Then I discovered that you can swap the speaker out and get a drastically different sound.

There’s a guy selling this for $325 used and he’s had it for 6 years should I take the deal ? It would be my only amp other then little 25 watt amps I’ve been using.

very nice sound I do have one, but the HD is the one you want
the difference is night and day. Both very fun amps at low volumes, don't expect the same at higher volumes. I find the amp cannot go over 5 if you want a nice sound. This guy does the amp justice with his playing he's good.

THANKS A LOT FOR THIS VERY GOOD EXPLANATION ABOUT THE AMP!!
Do you think it would be possible to see it in 720p?, I barely see the buttons when you touch them.
Again, thanks for the video, I much appreciate it!!!

How does one use the tuner on it???

    • @isaiahmarquez9717
      @isaiahmarquez9717 4 ปีที่แล้ว

I think you need the footswitch to use the tuner.

I don't know why Marshall discontinued the MG100HDFX it was a much nicer amp compared to the one shown in this video. This one looks cheap! What's up with that power button? It should be a rocker switch!
