I decided to conduct a social experiment seeing how people would react if they saw a man verbally mistreat his girlfriend in public. The results were shocking!

Same. Not even my neighbours or in-law family said or did anything when my ex would talk to me and my son like that in front of them. One of his first cousins figured she wanted my husband so she let him know and they were cheating on me for years. Their mothers are sisters and are ok with them and their relationship, for real. Needless to say I ended the marriage when I learned of the cheating and have cut the ex and his whole sick and twisted family out of my life.

No one ever stood up for me when I was verbally or physically abused- there were times that his friends were present. I had already been taken away from my family and alienated from my friends. Thank goodness that part of my life is over. It makes me relieved to see that things have changed for women today!!! BTW, I've stood up for young women being abused by their boyfriend/husband a few times in public, even with my PTSD!

No one helped me when I needed them - but I vowed many years ago that if I ever saw any I mean any type of abuse towards someone I would be heard. The thing is it often doesn't happen like this. Usually abusers are smarter than this. They don't start yelling at their partners out in public where anyone can come and intervene. They save this stuff for when they're in private with the victim, and put on a facade of being nice and charming in public so that no one is aware of it.

1. You see a man scolding his girlfriend in an aggressive manner 🤬 - you come to help her - result: by 100% chance the man will get aggressive to you, yelling at you to leave them alone - when you don‘t do this - the man will push you away and finally - beat you - you call the police 👮♀️- the police comes and ask everyone - „who started this?“ - the man will maintain you started this - the girl will suddenly take his side and say „yes, this man attacked us“ - and finally you get a nice cell in prison! 😱
2. Make the same video but change roles and let the woman scold and intimidate her boyfriend - what will be the result?
Of course absolutely no one will help the boy - some will look amused - the rest will ignore the scene - in the worst case come to the side of the girl, ask her „what the man has done to her“, offer her to teach him a lesson and beat him !!!! 🤕

I had no social life growing up because I wasn't allowed to have my weekends off- I went to church. I was an alter server for years, baptized, communed and so on all without my consent. I did this before out of anger because this one guy kept bugging me about my girlfriend. Soon I got reports about me been possessive about her and he had reported me. I understand what I did in the moment was wrong but at the moment I got mad and I didn't really handle it right. We had been together for 3 years and a half by then. Personally I can say it is wrong to act like that even out of anger and even if it just happens out of nowhere. That one guy she considered a friend back then was well liked by his friends but was rude to me for some reason. Apperantly she told him about me breaking up with her one time after a year of dating online. I didn't want to cheat on her back then and I thought breaking up with her to go out with someone else would be decent. She got hurt but she knew I loved her even then. Fast forwarding, 3 years later she has this guy friend and he meets me on bus to ROP Law Enforcement Field Ops. He had cooking class I think. Anyways he calls me an asshole after introducing himself and walks away. He starts shit with me for the next three years. Emailing me from new emails ev re yday and spreading rumors. I stood up and called him out 2 or 3 times. He reported me the first time and said he feared for his life. I got banned from the school for telling him to fuck off my business with my girl. At that time we were ok but some things started to slip in our relationship. I asked her to stop talking to him nicely at first so we wouldn't have issues. Me and the guy. She said ok and then i saw her texting some guy and she was mad. I went on her phone and saw he and her were texting. She had a bruised hand which is why I took her phone by force. When I saw they were texting and she had said, "oow wtf why did you do that to me". I got mad and she told me it was him that hurt her. She never reported it and ignored it. We started having real arguments right after about who she talked to. She had never really had friends at all until then. So she got mixed feelings about him and she ended up liking him but I thought we sorted it out. We didn't apperantly. I really did love her and still do but those arguments only made me feel bad and only became worse because she did it more often. She told me a couple of times while we were half asleep talking on the phone "yeah i wore this ___ for martin to see if he paid attention to me" i snapped awake and was like wait what. But dismissed it often but that only led to more chaos. In the end It got bad but i never was like that the first 3 years of our relationship. I never cared about her friends or what she wore. I love fashion and I even offered to buy her her cheer outfit because she wanted to join. If I could I'd buy her all the clothes she wanted. Im love shopping for clothes. She just slipped up and when she was mad she said she had dressed like that for some guy. I obviously got mad . i feel guilty and now she is with that guy. I've been killing myself with guilt and thoughts. Causs All I want is a regular relationship with her like we had the first 3 years. We were in love to death. No doubt no lies no negativity or other things. Just her and I. Her mom said I made her happy. Then after shsaid it was the opposite. I became a jealous guy and because that guy and her texted behind my back and she defended him often with the smallest poke. I got too pushy and wanted to know everything because I was afraid of losing her. Which I did. Those two are now together . so much that happened idk if Im the bad guy or not but I feel the bad guy.

I once met up with a friend whom I hadn't seen in about 2 years. I had a huge crush on him so I was excited when he called. We went to the mall and suddenly he started talking about how awful my hair looked but he said in a joking manner. I sort of laughed it off but then he pulled me inside a hairdressers shop and started asking the hairdresser what could be done to my hair. I didn't know what to say I felt awful. The hairdresser first took the question seriously he told me I had beautiful hair and asked what I wanted "a new color, a cut?" my friend said "a total makeover she can't walk around like this look at her and look at other girls..." at that point my soul was crushed and I said "No I don't want anything" and my friend swung his hand in the air saying "of course then you wonder why no guy likes you!" And went out from the shop. I looked at the hairdresser who asked me "is that you bf?" No.. "we're just friends" the dresser said "well he's an awful friend and if I were you I'd dump the friendship. He's not treating you right and you're a beautiful girl don't listen to him." I said thanks and sorry and left... my friend yelled at me from the other side "come on what's taking so long?" I just turned around and walked home. He texted me "where are you going?" I said "home and we're not friends anymore" he texted back "fine btch".... I couldn't believe I had a crush on this piece of shit. What a douche. And what a nice hairdresser...
