Nonvegan here. Made these and would definitely make again. Chocolate craving is satisfied and I don’t feel guilty about it. If you are used to boxed brownies, the texture is a little bit different but if you’re down to try a healthier alternative, start here 😊
Just made these and they were incredibly delicious. Even my non-vegan family members devoured them, including one who won't even touch vegetables! Thank you for sharing the recipe!
Oh-my-goodness! I just baked these. Absolutely delicious! I was looking for a recipe that does not use dates (which I don't like), and THESE delivered! Absolutely delicious (did I already say that?)! Thank you SOOOO much for posting! (Note - I admit I "cheated" a little by using Ghirardelli substitutes)
I made these delicious, chocolate dream sweet potatoes brownies today. They were amazing and so easy to make. You are so right about the salt sprinkled on top before baking. It really added a new level of flavor. Thank you for this wonderful recipe. Will be baking these again!
Today is Cook a Sweet Potato Day! Thank you for sharing this sweet potato video. This looks like one I will defiantly have to try. I'll also be celebrating on my channel with a new sweet potato recipe and I am also I'm taking so time out today to learn some new sweet potato recipes!! I hope you get to enjoy a sweet potato today! Thank you for sharing! Happy #CookASweetPotatoDay
Could you list the recipe in the comments or description? This looks yummy, so it prompted me to look at your other recipes, which also look promising. The only problem I have is I don’t want to have to watch a video each time I try to make something. it would be great to have a copy to print out, or at least a list to copy down.
I do my sweet potatoes for 5 minutes in the microwave then finish roasting them in the oven at 400 for 20-25 minutes. And i roast whole bunch for bowls, desserts and salads
Yes! But I have actually used 2 tbsp cocoa powder with the nut butter on the stove and added almond milk as needed until smooth. I would recommend this method! If you want to try it with sweetened chocolate chips, you could always try it as I’m sure it would be fine. The brownies would just be more sweet!
@@jenniferhodge2163 you’re so welcome! These are fab! Let me know if you have any more questions and let me know how they turn out for you! Also, if you want them to be a little thinner, use a 9x13 rather than 9x9!
With all do respect these just didn’t do it for me. I’ve tried many different versions of brownie recipes. And IMO a brownie is a brownie. Too many modifications and it’s just no longer a brownie. Unfortunately - because I don’t want to eat eggs anymore - It’s hard to duplicate what that egg does. But I’ve yet to try aquafaba. That’s next.
Totally understandable! Thanks for sharing! Recently I’ve tried Rainbow Plant Life’s Vegan brownie and IMO it tastes legitimately like a real brownie! She uses aquafaba. It’s honestly one of the best brownies I’ve had! Even my non vegan family members thought it was real!
You can use whichever salt you prefer! I tend to switch between all of them and use in moderation. Plus our body needs iodine and one way to get that is through iodized salt! Obviously too much salt in any form isn’t good for us, but using small amounts and avoiding processed foods should help with keeping my salt intake at a healthy level for my body!

Sounds like a great way to make sweet potatoes!
Is it possible to use sweetened chocolate chips or more cacao powder if you don’t have unsweetened chocolate chips or baking chocolate?

Really yummy
Yes! One of my fave desserts!
I am watching this, and I am not even a vegan. :)
Love that! These brownies are so good! So many non-vegans have loved this recipe when I shared it with them! Let me know if you try them! 😊
These don't "rise" like when using a gluten flour, correct?
Correct! These are more thick and fudgey/gooey!
Thank you

Himalayan salt or Real salt or Pink salt... but IODIZED SALT??? eek!!!!
