He's fine. I'm not seeing anything spectacular. Many more impressive drummers out there. He does what the music needs and thats laudable.
His old stuff was great. Like on audio tree. He's dumbed down the parts on salt here and all the new songs are pretty boring. I'd say he's a "victim" like so many other musicians, of having to play something more commercial. He's capable of really interesting parts but they're probably viewed as too much to put the catchy vocals over. Just my perspective

i was looking for melanie martinez evil lollapalooza 2023... found bad suns LOVE transpose, cardiac arrest and dancing on quicksand. listening to transpose live although theyre so good lyrically listening to them live was like listening to myself badly sing the song too XD

They are pretty tight live. Very good.

Band and album of the year for me. Best concert I went to, most listened to album, and the band that I saw grow the most out of all the other bands I love. Bad Suns had a great 2019!
