Watched this video about 4 times and did it all myself just like you did from start to finish, because I am no mechanic at all. But I did it and it's fixed with no leaks and not running hot at all. Thank you so much for your videos!

This is a good tutorial. The one thing that needs to be mentioned is that the front engine mount brackets need to be removed as well. I watched the video 3 times before i noticed these had been removed too. Things went better after that.

When exactly did we separate the condenser from the radiator? I feel like this part was skipped.

when reconnecting the battery cables always do the positive post and tighten it before doing the negative. It will prevent accidentally arcing from a tool making contact with a metal surface.

Pro Tip! The upper motor mounts: Put the e-brake on and put it in neutral and the motor will move easier to get these back on.

if i do this myself, the money i saved to pay the pros to do it, i would pay it to myself to do this. It really helps building courage :)

This channel and video needs more likes!. If I could thumbs up twice i would! Great tutorial!
A small leak had me switch over to those "ratcheting"/screw-in tightening hose clamps and it broke the plastic upper radiator port on my wifes radiator! I turned a leak into the need for a whole new radiator, so pissed at myself, but it happens. Wish me luck!

  • @buddiec41

Just did my daughter's yesterday and the same thing happened, he broke the center bolt fan holder and did not even say he did he just replaced with a new fan. Should have told watchers to look out for it possibly breaking

when removing the line directly below the transmission line, the one with the rubber spacer that happens to be broke on yours, mine is still connected and upon loosening the bolt to it it hisses and smokes and shoots out almost a yellow color liquid

2012 3.6 liter is much tighter and more difficult to remove fan assembly

    Am I right or wrong?

I love how he just skips over the fact that he broke the plastic piece off the fan. Next clip, just has the bolt in his hands. lol. Smooth.

Don't worry about it, I just did mine and just go ahead and pop the lines out, your new radiator will have one ones and you just pop them back in. Good luck

I can't tell from the video but usually there is a nut right there that the line runs through. You could also just back that out with a wrench and free the whole line and clip assembly
