Purchased one for streaming swim meets. Mounted it on the far end of the pool on a 25’ tower with a hollyland sdi/hdmi transmitter. Was having trouble getting network control of the camera though so I had to walk over and get underneath the tower and hook in via the app to adjust the exposure throughout the day. I think I love it. I have more to do to find out. I did set it up again with the Hollyland transmitter on a WiralLite cable camera system to see how it would perform getting swimmers across the pool. Wind became too much for the rig to handle and we didn’t get very good footage.
Setting up a livestream in a cathedral. 3xOBSBOT Tail Air, 3xNearStream vm33, 3xMevo Start, 1x Panasonic HC V180 (for the 90x zoom). Using NDI where possible. 10 cameras make switching - on a budget - quite challenging. Have added a SuperJoy controller for the OBSBOTs, but any vision mixing hardware that has 10 inputs on the control surface (x2 plus t-bar preferably) is way too expensive. But you can’t run this with a mouse on a multiview.
Jason See the lengthier explanation above: we found that the GoStream switcher, as a webcam, allowed us to augment the Mac+OBS combination. The t-bar allows fluid dissolves which the static nature of the liturgy requires. We use the strengths of the different cameras by deploying them progressively through the liturgy, which starts with folks seated in pews and then moves those same people through the space itself, to receive communion. The transition from the cool static long-lens shots - “Eye in the sky” - with their sense of surveillance, gives way to the “blooming buzzing confusion” of all those wide angle cameras, placed within inches of the participants, as they make the move from “law” to “grace”, each week.
That being said, I come from a broadcasting background, and the trick of operating the zoom on a camcorder so that it can match the prowess of a Sony HDC 4300 with its Fujinon UA 80x zoom lens is elusive. But you get way more than what you are paying for!

The demo videos we have seen - the auto tracking does not ZOOM in enough for our use. What products would you recommend with auto tracking and at least 10X ZOOM?

Jason, have you tried out the AI tracking feature here. I'm wondering if I could mount one midway down the dugout, and have it track the batter/runner from batter's box to around the bases. For example if the batter hit a double would the camera automatically follow him from the batters box to 2B?
I’m planning on getting him at least to first. Not sure what will happen at that distance when he crosses the first baseman. I’ll be giving it a shot when our games start up in a couple of weeks. Gonna try one in cf to try to track the center fielder as well. Dont know what I’ll get but it will be fun trying.

Wow, you’ve assembled a setup I’ve never even attempted. How do you even have time to make use of 10 cameras?

I tried to pair Tail air to remote controller and it is not working. Followed the instructions but no luck. reaching out to support.
