I came for the game... medieval warrior... huge story line, not centered on main quests I stayed for the mods..... "This my Skyrim and only mine!" Skills I've mastered playing this game : resolving mods conflicts "oh it loads? no CTD".... even more enjoyable than playing it, that feeling of accomplishment when it runs neat...
Big lesson Skyrim and other games taught me is that its always easier to get high first, then down, than the opposite. In a dwemer ruin or any dungeon, whenever you're faced with a path going up and a path going down, it's smarter to go up first because there's a chance you'll be able to jump down later on to experience the lower path; whereas you'll never be able to jump high enough to reach the upper path once you're down on the ground. Same in life, when presented with 2 options, take the one that leads higher, even if you don't like it as much as the other: you'll always have the opportunity to fall back on it. That's what I did with my studies, and I ended up liking the "high" path even more that I know it doesn't trap me
Lessons from Skyrim: There's more than one way to skin a cat. A world without usury or taxes is awesome. (You could own a house) Your going to have to break some eggs to make a omelet.
