GoonaTV - Milgram is known for emulating authority. In philosophical schools, he is regarded as a twit, because it is an immature christian behavior to go up to talk to people that you do not know. The movie is way better as a farce about Milgram.

This movie points of some uncomfortable truths about human behavior in the face of authority - especially the "agentic state" where a person relinquishes authority and responsibility in a service position. I see people doing this every day - not taking the initiative because it's not in their job description, or mindlessly enforcing stupid rules without using their discretion simply because they're "the rules." Dr. Milgram's character was like Woody Allen on Valium - walking through scenes and making declaratory comments. They made no attempt to make his beard look realistic, not to mention Dennis Haysbert's crazy wig. I get the cardboard scenery, but are they doing it to make a point or because they're too cheap? Two stars.

Yeah, I'm not feeling most movies anymore these days. The actors just look too good, healthy, in shape, with make up. The lighting only emphasizes their physical appearance. The environment always looks too clean. Everything about the cinematography is off in my opinion. The worst movies are the ones in medieval times where everyone has perfect teeth, clean cloths, perfect eyes... it just looks like they slapped on some cloths that represent the time and winged it. Sorry for being pessimistic.
+Raphael Pistor out of all the movies out there these days, this one is the target of this particular point? I understand what you"re saying and hell i agree with parts of it, but why this movie? considering hollywood comes out with about 5 million movies a year that are considerable worse than this for unrealistic looking actors.
Adrian Foekens What you say is very true. I should have made this comment on another trailer video but I just felt the urge to say it in that instant, so I did. I was just something about the lighting in this trailer that felt so unreal to me and I snapped. Good point though, there are MUCH worse movies out there.
I was psyched about this movie for the obvious reasons with learning in school, but also because my a friend of my family's father was the learner/actor in the experiment. (Never met him though)
