I was in the same situation 2016, you have a lot of catching up to do. Many different styles of music from this band, very addictive. I discovered them, Kurt vile, and that I loved jazz music from the likes of Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk , John Coltrane and such all in the year 2016 when I got bit by a vinyl fever which led to purchasing turntable and stereo equipment and then many many vinyl albums! All of that because of TH-cam and free music. at 52 years of age I thought I would never find a new type of music that moved me and then Along Came Brian Jonestown Massacre, jazz music, Kurt vile, and I am sure that TH-cam will lead me down many other musical roads.
I practice. Ashtanga vinyasa yoga daily… it’s my sadhana it’s called. That’s what I do for my body and my mind. But then I listen to BJM. My ex partner have showed me the band. We have two children together who also love BJM so we are all tangled in beautiful sounds. Thank you so much for bringing beauty into our life.

You are an absolute hidden gem, that never gave into corporate bullshit, and some day youll be recognised across the world for it. you are one of the most inspirational, musical genius's of our time. I am fascinated by everything you do. I hope some day when I have kids, they come to me with (probably with some sort of music device that hasn't been invented yet) and ask..."did you ever hear of Anton Newcombe" then I will truly know they have discovered MUSIC
I'm certainly a disciple of BJM, I try to share it with everyone I can. I play it at cafes I work at, rep a bumper sticker and a shirt. It seems like a lot of people have forgotten what good music sounds like. Or maybe they just want to keep up with the trends. Only true lovers of music as art understand.

I hope to see you guys play down in Australia again soon, I've seen you twice here in Brisbane and they were both awesome, professional shows, you guys really have your shit together as a live experience
