It feels so good and safe following a exact recipe with a certain outcome in the middle of all the chaos that is PoE. i wasted all my currency to get a 600% bow and got completely stuck on my build, since im a new player i figured this totem sht would do so much content but idk what i did to my guy (i tried copying ziz's video) that i basically gave up at this point after getting to yellow maps and just dying so much i cant level up lol. i used to think ARPGs are such a braindead easy genre of just spam clicking but i see how much you have to know now to play these. big respect and cool vid

Looks amazing, another solid and well considered uber-budget meta build! Quick question: Obviously there is no easy way to maintain full phys-ele mitigation if we swap in a bow & quiver.... is it even worth trying or even using Lightning coil, at that point? Cheers
Great question! In that case you would lose the 20% from the shield, but you can make up for it with a 10% conversion Watcher’s eye and a Lethal Pride that gives a couple notables that each provide 5% phys taken as fire. It’s outside of the budget of this challenge, but shouldn’t be more than 1-2 divines upgrade for those pieces.

For the Ice Shot and Totem builds. 1- Which gem-links do you recommend with sniper mark for rare helmet in Ice Shot build? 2- If I want to switch to bow in trap/totem build, what should be the gem-links in weapon and boot? 1. For rare helmet, you’ll do Sniper’s Mark linked with Mark on Hit Support. The other two slots are flexible, you can use whatever you want. 2. Switching to the bow version requires you to first craft a +gem level bow, which right now costs about 5div to craft. Until you can get that bow, the boots will perform better. When you do achieve the bow, the gem links will be the same four used here, along with Charged Traps Support and Empower Support. I hope these responses answer your questions!
Awesome content! Im playing your frost shot dead eye and its great. But id like to invest in the build a bit, any ideea where to start in order to get even more damage out of it?
I'm really loving this so far, I was very happy with what power I had just coming online with all the basic gear for cheap. I've decided to keep pushing the build further, I rolled temporal chains effect on helmet and then I started by getting a few corrupted uniques so i now have a +2 +5 aura boots, +2 aura in malevolence, super strong poison claw. I'm looking to replace icefang using herald of agony devergent for the missing poison chance with a circle of nostalgia for heralds rolled well, 5L chest with +2 aura corrupt enlighten 3 to fit in dread banner for less accuracy defense aura. I'd like to keep one handed shield and get a GGG redblade gladius 400 or 600% totem node but they are all pretty pricey and rare, I got really lucky with max life, exposure immunity and faster debuff xp nodes on my dawnbreaker. Bow is on option to swap too and I might but I like the defenses now. Also eyeballing a replica soul tether with grace effect corrupt. Wondering if I could fit divine flesh in? i'm already going to be 100+ chaos res
Glad you’re enjoying the build! These all sound like great upgrades, at this point you can clear all content so now you’re just tailoring the final gear set to your specific flavor 😃 Divine Flesh is nice, but if you can’t get up to 90% chaos res then it might just be better to run triple elemental flasks instead (ruby, sapphire, topaz) for similar mitigation and invest your currency/focus elsewhere. Question about upgrading the build (just a bit): if I were to 6-link my Lightning Coil eventually, would a 6L setup with +Charged Traps + Multiple Totems be more damage than the +5 level boots? Then we maybe could use boots like Torchoak Step which reads "(30-50)% increased Totem Life". All that supposing that we can sustain the 6L mana cost with the current setup 🤔
You'll have to check the totem life stat on that setup, but I personally don't think it's worth the cost. If I was going to six link, i would use a bow so I can get +1 level of socketed gems and +2 level of socketed support gems. Paired with Empower Support, this will truly push the damage to the max. The 5th and 6th links should be Charged Traps + Empower. Mana sustain won't be an issue in the short term as long as you have Eldritch Battery and 1000+ Energy Shield.
So I think I’ve fried my capability to post comments due to trying to put the pob in them. My 80-100 div estimation was off back then it was at 117 div. Since then I’ve changed a couple of pieces moved away from the double curse setup into single curse and running an explode cluster. I’ve changed plenty of other things as well new bow (2 actually) currently I’m still running slavedrivers but at 100 I’ll replace them and move into a 0 Mana cost setup and drop my max res from 85 to 82 If I had to guess how much the build is worth atm it’s around 200-220 div coming from the bow that made a jump by roughly 30 div more in cost. A double phys taken as elemental and vitality in hit jewel (only 2 in league as far as I know off) and a auls uprising with malevolence to run 6 auras will move malevolence to divine blessing tho once I’m 100 the build went from 95-99.5 purely in simu I’ve died 3 times tho one from not paying attention and getting less recovery from flask debuff on me and 2 from dcs sad dab. If the interest is still there I’ll create a full pob with my double curse version back then the slave drivers version I’m running atm and a 0 mana cost setup (that’s from Steelmage I’ve just copied it) And send it to you via discord or other ways. Edit: the explosion in price comes from the watchers eye ive gotten it for 20div and thats imo really really underpriced exspecually since there were only 2 in league both sold within 30min of me buying one and there are 5 in standard and the recently listed ones (5 n 2 months ago) are 50 div a price id value it as well. I currently own 2 bows with the same mod groups both totem notes 40inc global dmg and either lethe shade or magebane they bases are at least 35 closer to 45-50 for magebane and 50 (only 1 listed) for lethe shade and u have to add at least 5 div if not more for a finished craft on top of that. if i have to estimate the total "cost" of all the gear i own for the build for all various setups id say it is around 300-350 div total. i happylie invest this much into the build since it is by far the strongest build ive ever played since ive started in 3.0 dmg wise only the selfcurse boneshatter from scourge comes close that build was basically immortal as well but got oneshot from crits something this build doesnt care about and u dont have to wait 45sec each zone to reset the shroud timer as well so trading while doing simu is just easy af.
If you go with a bow instead do you think it would be more tanky with Vow and all that normally goes with it? Or stay with lightning coil and maybe try to fit in petrified blood or something? Id really like to use this build for delving
For newer players : he bypasses the mana cost sustain by using the eldritch battery key stone paired with replica soul tether belt. The keystone takes your ES and moves it on your mana pool to use it before spending mana. The belt gives you corrupted soul keystone and that gives you a bunch of ES without having to use ES gear. ES recharge is enough to sustain the cost because he is on a 4 link. If you swap to a 6L bow you'll most likely have to find an alternate way to sustain the mana cost.
Thanks for the explanation! I was trying a totem build (I found a bow early on with 400%) and vaguely following Ziz's build at the time he was doing it. Got to Act 10 and just not seeing the damage - mostly due to being mana limited even with EB I think. This build intrigued me but I didn't understand how he dealt with mana until I saw your comment!

Also, a common way to deal with mana issue with EB on pathfinder is to use either the burden of truth belt or an elegant hubris with cadiro paired with the life flask ascendancy. The belt/cadiro keystone makes your life flask also apply to ES so it completly solve the mana cost issue. Lastly there is another option for endgame where you can stack reduce mana cost of skill on jewel, flasks and minus cost on jewelry. The mana cost on a 6link with empower in is insanely high :)
I think despair and plague bearer would be the 2 main damage options. outside of that you can get more life recovery from rejuve totem or buff temporal chains effects for more defense
We dont scale quality and the base life is very similar. On this kind of budget march of the legion boots are great because they give gem levels to aura skills. Rejuv totem has the aura tag, devouring doesn't. That's why with this item rejuv is far better. Other than that the effect of the totem itself is better on rejuv.

Lunaris + Abberath is what I used, worked great for me.
I ended up dropping the MS roll on quicksilver for a curse effect roll and then ran yugul instead of abberath for 100+% reduce effect of curses

How do you level with this? i have a quill rain with explode totem and i am struggling with damage in campaign esp against bosses.
I only have a few chaos, can you guide me on how to make this happen? I'm sad to say at this point in league i still don't have a divine yet.

I noticed in the PoB that you are not capped on resistances. Is it a bug or am I missing something?
Resistance are coming from the bismuth flask with 100% uptime. Make sure that’s checked and you should be good 👍

You need to unveil helmets from the Syndicate member Korell to unlock this craft.

20 Div Lightning Arrow is stronger and faster, but this is a 1 Div build so it’s not a fair comparison.

I recommend Poisonous Concoction or Toxic Rain for leveling.
