Happy Easter Lisa!! Also Can’t Hurt Me is one of my all time favorites so great choice!! If you haven’t already try to listen to the audio book too because it does it in a podcast kind of way which provides so much more context. I just keep listening to it over and over so 💜 let me know if you end up giving it a try!
Human Acts sounds really interesting, im adding that to my list. you might like a book called A River in Darkness, based on the true story of a man’s escape from North Korea (if you haven’t read it). you need tissues for that one lol. Great video 💜
I 100% agree with your review on normal people. I hated how she lacked quotation marks and everything was oversexual WAY TOO SOON for like 20 pages so I just stopped reading. I don't understand why so many people loved it.
I’m going to add Human Acts on my reading list because I bought too many books that you recommended that I still need to read. I’m so happy that I wasn’t the only one that didn’t like Normal People. What was the point of that book? They should pay us for reading that book 😂
Just read "Romantic Comedy" by Curtis Sittenfeld and it was honestly sooo good. Think you would like it! Unique story, well written and not as surface level as many other romance books that are currently hyped up.
Lol I adored normal people but if you havent experienced or felt the things the characters did in the book then it would be hard to get into. Might have to check out the first couple books, they sound good!
Noo feeling so validated by your hate for normal people!!! I HATED that book. It was just boring and weird for me and I disliked the characters. Also definitely reading human acts now
