72 years old and I finally learned the right chords for Over the Rainbow. That song always reminds me of my daughter when she was three and wanted me to drive our car up on top of a rainbow to see things. And of course it also reminds me of Dorothy and the great Izzy. Also, does anyone have tips for transitioning between chords? I tend to pause between the chords and it doesn't sound very nice.
when i am learning a new chord i have the same problem just keep practicing until you get better at each chord take it one step at a time

This help me so much! I have been wanting to play somewhere over the rainbow for a long time and I thought I was going to be hard but no it not all, Thank you Elise love you 💕
So, quick backstory:
I got my ukulele for Christmas this year (it’s December 30th). When my great grandma died, her favorite song was the Hawaiian version of somewhere over the rainbow. My goal was to learn this and play it at a family reunion or something. Now I know how to play this song and I can’t wait for the next family get together! Thanks for reading
