Oliveira was till now one of the most underrated pilots of the paddock by some of the media, etc. Sponsers always have been hard to catch for him so all the results he had achieved come mainly from his hard work and persistence. Its now starting to pay off. Maybe this win came exactly at the right moment on his career and Media start to give more attention and recognition to him. He is one of the most consistent pilots on the paddock. Maybe not the fastest one from the beginning on but, he always improves session by session....and in the end...he´s a Sunday man, like the legend Valentino. Only missing to improve his qualifying, but when he does, many more podiums will come into his way. I still hope to see him at one of the top established manufacturers at the end of his KTM contract. Yamaha or Ducati....maybe even Honda or Suzuki....but...if KTM becomes a regular winning bike, then he is definitely at the right spot. This was an epic race/finishing. A true appetizer for the ones who dont know MotoGP! Show this last lap to F1 fans and you will have them come over.....

Lets see how next races develop...even though quite unlikely, It could even be this season already...he is very constant and that is a big big plus....if nobody sends him to the floor ofcourse. ;) But what I like is his professionalism and positive attitude no matter what...thats what makes a champion as well. And he has feet on the ground...its not because he just won a race that he's gonna change that.

very mature riding from Oliveira, he knew he couldn't pass both, so he position himself in the best way possible to exit the last turn quick and hope that both riders go wide or get involved in some way and the race was his to win, and thats what happened, kept his cool and adrenaline under control showing experience and smart riding. well done

What mistakes? Miller's block pass on Pol cost them both speed. Miguel knew that was coming and just kept his speed up. No mistake, he just took advantage of the situation. Good riding, but no mistakes by anyone. Cracking race(s) though

The last corner can be summarized like this: - Miller and Pol were busy roleplaying as Dovi and Marc respectively, but only for Oliveira to snatch the victory because he found the act being lame.

It's not uncommon for professional motorbike pilots to have no license. And it makes sense, driving in the public streets is statistically more dangerous than racing or circuit, and they actually have all the fun already in doing so. If I could stick to circuit, I would have done so without the hassle of going through the license. But I'm just a (poor) hobbyist so I don't have a choice. Usually today's pilots usually started riding very young, it's what its required to reach the skill of a professional pilot.
When will people understand that their contracts don't allow them to ride motorcycles on the road? They are an asset, teams and brands can't afford to risk it
His odds of winning got a lot better when Pol tried to dive bomb Miller at turn 9 and went wide. He knew Miller would push him wide in the last turn and all he had to do was wait and let the race come to him

I've only been watching motogp racing the past year or two, and I don't get to see many of the races. but speaking as a person who has spent the past few decades as a passionate american paved oval racing fan, there is more action in one MotoGP race than there is in an entire season of Nascar Cup racing. Sucks that Marquez is out, but the races are way more exciting without him. I've been a fan of Jack Miller since his awesome qualifying lap in Austria 2018, so it's great to see him running well. That boy can hustle a motorcycle.
Nice to hear that people realizing this and MotoGP gets more and more popular from it. You can't top MotoGP racing. No F1, no Nascar, nothing is like it

It's not uncommon for professional motorbike pilots to have no license. And it makes sense, driving in the public streets is statistically more dangerous than racing or circuit, and they actually have all the fun already in doing so. If I could stick to circuit, I would have done so without the hassle of going through the license. But I'm just a (poor) hobbyist so I don't have a choice. Usually today's pilots usually started riding very young, it's what its required to reach the skill of a professional pilot.

Oliveira knew Pol's hot head would be his doing and waited for it.
But in this case, Miller had the hot head. In my opinion.
That's why it was briliant, he kept his cool and planned ahead
His odds of winning got a lot better when Pol tried to dive bomb Miller at turn 9 and went wide. He knew Miller would push him wide in the last turn and all he had to do was wait and let the race come to him

I've only been watching motogp racing the past year or two, and I don't get to see many of the races. but speaking as a person who has spent the past few decades as a passionate american paved oval racing fan, there is more action in one MotoGP race than there is in an entire season of Nascar Cup racing. Sucks that Marquez is out, but the races are way more exciting without him. I've been a fan of Jack Miller since his awesome qualifying lap in Austria 2018, so it's great to see him running well. That boy can hustle a motorcycle.
