I only recently discovered it myself. It is pretty interesting. There was also another Satellaview quest that became known as the Fourth Quest.

In the original Satellaview release, you can play as either a boy or girl avatar character. The ROM version has a patch to change the avatars to Link and Zelda.

You can play as either a male or female Satellaview avatar character in the original release. The ROM I'm playing had a patch that changed those player characters to Link and Zelda.
