I feel like the only way to defeat “Gluttony” would be to trick him: something along the lines of what Ulysses did to Polyphemus and if/when “Gluttony” asks for Subaru’s name he could answer “Lye Batenkaitos” or “Roy Alphard” and see what happens (probably nothing😂 but at least it would be worth a try, I mean, “Gluttony” himself basically admitted he’s the dumbest among all of the archbishops, so something stupid like that could actually work… And, who knows, maybe Gluttony could even accidentally “eat” himself…😂)

But it still seems that Satella killed Minerva directly based on their interaction in wn. And it's especially interesting because Minerva is the witch that cares the most for Satella. She was the one who told Subaru to think about Satella's feelings when he is dying.
