I just bought one with a pre-installed synthetic rope from factory. Do I need to do the stretch and tension to the rope as it was a brand new rope install? Or is it ready to go as it is from factory?

I have a remote control and the battery is completely dead how can I charge the battery I looked and there is no way to plug it in or to charge it

Are your winches made in USA or China?

The VR series is made in China. The rest of our winches come out of our factory in Clackamas, Oregon USA.

How do I charge the remote for my winch battery is completely dead

I don’t believe there is a way to charge it and it takes special batteries, this is exactly why I’m going with the smitybilt X2O Gen 3. I would be sold on this warn but having dead battery’s and a special one to replace all the time is a no go. The smittybilt has a rechargeable remote.
