man this is AWESOME!! I just learned of Finch's existence, but I must say I'm beginning to like their second album more than their first, even though I haven't heard many songs from either^^
To add to that, I also heard Pappas (despite the fact he had some talent) wanted to make another "WIITB", while the other members wanted to try something new (aka SHTS).

They had problems with Pappas (Their previous drummer) and he split when they were making Say Hello to Sunshine. Marc Allen is a complete God of drumming. I have never heard anything like his style in my life. And they split because of Derek (the basist) and overall bad management from Geffen. They just needed a break. Now they're back and better than ever! yeo!
And since then… brokeup, and back together, and broke up… and on and on… but for the past 12 years or whatever, Pappas has been the drummer (most of the time) when they were back together.
I think it was just to fast of a change, I personally love both albums, the mathy gritty ness of Say Hello To Sunshine, and the great tone and musician ship from What It Is To Burn. Shame that this is going to be it from them :/
The drummer was in a band called Counterfit before this... I think his drumming was better there then in finch. Check them out if you care enough, haha.
This singer rips man! hes got such a good range. and writes such good music. also incubus is awsome, if you think they are no good go back to hip hop or rap.. stay away from the people who can write music.
@ThaGrimReefer420 It's not that his mic is cutting out, the engineer just doesn't know how to use compression at all, and Nate isn't a great singer, who is even worse at knowing how to handle a mic...

It's hard to not fall in love with this song. Kudos to these guys for coming back.
i like the singer's voice, especially how it actually sounds like it does in the album, unlike many bands who sound horrible live vocal-wise.
I can't be any more glad to know that they finally ended their hiatus and get back together!!
