Thank you so much for the videos! I recently saved some fighting fantasy books from a skip after seeing them on your videos. To my shock when researching them one is worth around £179. Sold the first one today for £10. I would never have saved them from the skip if it wasn’t for your videos thanks!
It's great when that happens!! 🙂👍 (Do you have a "free book box/exchange" in your area?? Where I live in Cornwall, they started doing that during COVID. There is one in my local bus shelter! I frequently look in there and have a pick through. Some unusual items. 🙂👍 They also used to do - I expect they do still - "books for 50p for charity" shelves at local doctor's surgeries and church halls. But I haven't been out much since the pandemic.)
The best thing is if you find something that someone doesn't 'think' is worth much, then selling to a collector or enthusiast who has it on their wish list!
Well done, Nic. It's all about personal knowledge and being able to spot the 'gems' when you come across them. A great little video. It looks like Geff may be getting a few extra treats this week! Thanks, for the video! ;o).
I found a Leica ! 'point and click' camera on one of the auction clearance guys at a car boot and paid £1 for it. Sold it for, I think, £175 but it was a few years ago so not 100% sure, around that anyway.
Well done, and well deserved! Reselling is hard, as you say, but if you enjoy the chase, and you occasionally have a great result, it is worth it. Thanks again for all the great info.
I often wonder Nic when a seller makes a big sale, like the camera, when d’you feel you can actually celebrate knowing they could easily return the item?
I bought a belt buckle at pewter caterpillar Logo buckle got a offer in middle of night at £40 but as customer couldn't wait till morning and won it for £12.50
Nice sales 👌 I did the same at a booter a few weeks back, picked up an olympus camera for £2, sold on ebay for £280 the week after... If you know what you are looking for it's easy money, just finding it
I went to a boot sale and found a pair of Lalique menu holders, signed R Lalique, they were in perfect condition, when I asked the lady how much they were, she told me she wanted £5 as they were Lalique, snapped them up and when my daughter was getting engaged I sold them for £500, added a few bottles of champagne to the party.
Hi Nic..never heard of Bakugan toys..mind you I retired at Easter so that explains the gap in my toy knowledge! I have been a Ebay reseller since 2007 & certainly now will spend on my hobby. I cannot walk past a charity shop coz you just dont know😁.My best flip some years ago was a classical cd fat box in a £30 job lot sold for £120 & this year a £1 book for £50..its addictive but agree ..certainly not for everyone@
I've been off You Tube for a fair while, but long-time subscriber. Fantastic margins, Nic, and great content! Thoroughly deserved too. As always, thank you for not only sharing your selling price, but also your buying price - very open and transparent (as you've always been). Keep up the great work, Nic and Andrea! You're both invaluable to the buying/selling community! Thoroughly appreciate your content. 👍
Great finds Nick! I’ve had similar luck with Lego figures, found a few worth £100+ in bundles that I paid a few £ for. Like you say, it’s rare, but great when it happens :-D
Knowledge is power and it’s worked for you but for me this dosent sit right at all- £1 and made £300 basically, this is why I found reselling morally disturbing at times.
It’s called business all business are the same in one way or another I’m a reseller and have made massive profits for instance Land Rover pushchair free /£120 profit
Oh my word I literally have 2 of those cameras in a box of bits n bobs in my bedroom wardrobe!
Get them sold

I never see the Olympus in the wild. As a photographer it’s on my list of what I’d like to find. So kudos to you. Sweet sale.
I just sold an old Ben 10 toy which I paid 50p for £75 on ebay, happy days, love it when we get one of those

Thank you Nic, I know this was a year ago, but, the knowledge is new to me lol
Glad to help!
What sort of ejit sells a 300 quid camera for 1 pound.
I had two terrific early sales that kind of kept me going early doors. £10 into £200 and £3 into £100.
Fantastic :)
Wow. Great watch. Thanks
Great sales there and thank you for sharing the knowledge that's nice to see to me has a new reseller
i found a Yashica T4 35mm in a charity shop a few years ago for £5. Sold all in for £320!
Well done, and well deserved! Reselling is hard, as you say, but if you enjoy the chase, and you occasionally have a great result, it is worth it. Thanks again for all the great info.
AMAZING!!! Love seeing my fellow Resellers making a Killing - Good Stuff! 😄 😄 😄
Great results! Thanks for the info!
Well done. A great find.
It's great as a non-reseller to see the exceptional finds/profits that do arise - well done 👍👏
Wow, I bought that camera when it was first released, and now I know the value. I'll try to find it from the loft.

Woo yeah! And only 6.9% FVF in cameras and photography 👍🏼
Can I ask, when you film test do you just take a picture and check it winds on etc, or do you actually get the picture developed? Thanks 🙏😊

Excellent Nic …. Nice 😊
Do u list them as a buy it now as I'm new to sales and unsure if an auction or buy it now is better
we use buy it now
Fantastic stuff! I got £275 on a £3 speaker and £300 for an amplifier gifted to me! Epic stuff wouldn’t it be great if you could do that every day
How do you find out, which speakers are worth money?? 🙂🙂
@@oneoflokis depends on the brand
Congratulations. Your right ebay is not easy
Well done Nic, for those marvellous flips!🙂👍 That was a pretty small simple camera, to go for £299! Is it rare?
not rare dates around 1987-89 from memory I used to sell them for around £179
Nice work
Well done Nic 😊👍

I dream of finding a mju ii.. I did find a mju i the weekend which holds a nice value
Great work on the camera, that should pay your energy bill for the week 😆
Those are the deals I want to make, well done.
Way Togo Nic. Congrats. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️💚🥰🤗
So this covered the loss on the headlight 😂
Your forehead & eyebrow movement when you’re talking straight to the camera amazes me 🧐
Roger Moore would've been proud.
Post office is going on strike tomorrow.
I've stopped eBay for now . Spending too much money
Nice 🙂
Great. 👍👍💗😍
Hope you can write the correct address instead of blaming the postie
What a mug £350.00 and he's telling us it cost a whopping £1.50p. If I knew that after that sale I would be sending it back to them.
If you want the item and are happy to pay the asking price then why would you send it back? You’d just have to buy it off someone else.
👊 Great work
Thanks ✌
Guessing you will not be very welcome back at the Car boot sale again
