This video explores the biblical story of Ishmael, the firstborn but forgotten son of Abraham. According to the book of Genesis, Ishmael was born to Abraham and Sarah's handmaiden, Hagar. But after Isaac was born to Abraham and Sarah in their old age, Ishmael was cast out from the family.
As God had promised Abraham that Isaac would carry on his lineage and inheritance, Isaac became Abraham's focus. Ishmael was sent away into the wilderness with his mother Hagar, seemingly forgotten.
Yet God did not forget Ishmael. He blessed Ishmael as well, promising to make him into a great nation. The Bible records that Ishmael settled in Paran and married an Egyptian woman. His descendants, the Ishmaelites, became a powerful people.
Though Isaac was the son of promise through whom God built his covenant with Abraham, Ishmael also received blessings from the Lord. This video examines the biblical narrative of God's care for the overlooked firstborn son and how both Isaac and Ishmael were part of God's plan to bless the nations.

Ishmael was blessed, but NOT the Promise seed, Isaac was the Promise seed where the Messiah came through. In Gen 17: v19 And God said, ' thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed, and shalt call his name Isaac, and I will establish my Covenant with him for an everlasting Covenant and with his seed after him.
V20, and as for Ismael, I have heard thee and behold I have blessed him.
V21, but my Covenant will I establish with Isaac.
Rom, 9: 7-9 God speaks, tgat only the seed of Isaac. In v8, (paraphrase) Not all that are born of Abraham are the Promise seed, only the seed of Isaac are the children of God.

I'm an Indian Muslim from the state of Kerala. By race we are dravidians but we believe in Islam, not all. By the grace of Allah Almighty we the people of Kerala Muslims are lucky enough to have a companion of the Prophet (pbuh) named Cheraman Perumal (Thajudheen) who was a king and travelled to Makkah and met the Prophet (pbuh) and embraced Islam and on his return he died at Salalah (Oman) and buried there.

Because they simply didn’t believe God, they concocted their own solution to the problem and substituted the maidservant Hagar so they could have a child through her instead of trusting God who told them that He was going to bless them with a child. Because of this, the work of SAVING MAN cannot be finished until the war with Satan is finished, because the summary of the work in God's management is for the sake of human salvation. The very first mankind was in the hands of God, but because of Satan's TEMPTATION and CORRUPTION, man was BOUND by SATAN and FELL into the HANDS of EVIL. ☀️
So Satan became something to be DEFEATED in the WORK of GOD'S GOVERNMENT. Because MAN IS POSSESSED BY SATAN, and because man is the PRODUCT of ALL GOD'S GOVERNMENT, then he must be TAKEN OUT OF SATAN'S HANDS, this is to say that man must be RECOVERED AFTER SATAN'S CAPTIVITY.

No. First, the story of Abraham is fiction. It was written around 800 to 600 BC long after the supposed events took place. It was created to imbue the Hebrews with a unique quality. The story of Ishmael was created to make the other tribes inferior. Same thing with Lot's children by incest with his two daughters. It gave a cursed origin to the Edomites and the Moabites.

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee ... And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee ... And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee." .... I've read further than this but there are keys in this quote. My interpretation is that God is making a covenant with Abraham, and that God intends to add on to that covenant he made with Abraham, through Abraham's seed, for what will be an everlasting covenant - For God to be a God to Abraham and to the selected of Abraham's seed. At Genesis 17: 20 - 21, God confirms that the next stage of his covenant with Abraham will be made with Isaac but not with Ishmael. So, Ishmael is the seed of Abraham but he is not the chief recipient of Abraham's blessings despite being blessed by God. [It also means that God will not necessarily be God to Ishmael and Ishmael's seed] Isaac was the heir in terms of receiving the chief of Abraham's blessings. Further along somewhere (I must read it again), God makes clear to Abraham an intention to wipe out the world once again, and, the significance of Abraham's covenant is, that at that time, Abraham's seed will not be wiped out, but more specifically, Abraham's seed which Jacob's son Joseph accepts will not be wiped out. And the same is for all the people who are not Abraham's seed - they won't be wiped out if Joseph accepts them. So, what does it all mean? My interpretation is. "The Son of God is Joseph. Abu Az-Zubayr narrated from Jabir, who said, "The one to be sacrificed was Isaac." This opinion is also narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him. Abdullah ibn Umar said, "The one to be sacrificed was Isaac," and this was the opinion of Umar, may Allah be pleased with him. These are the statements of seven companions. It is also reported from some of the successors and others, such as Alqamah, Ash-Sha'bi, Mujahid, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Ka'b al-Ahbar, Qatadah, Masruq, Ikrimah, Al-Qasim ibn Abi Bazza, Ata, Muqatil, Abdul Rahman ibn Sabit, Az-Zuhri, As-Suddi, Abdullah ibn Abi Hathil, and Malik ibn Anas. All of them said, "The one to be sacrificed was Isaac." This is also the opinion of the People of the two Scriptures, the Jews and the Christians. It was chosen by more than one of them, including An-Nahhas, At-Tabari, and others. Sa'id ibn Jubayr said, "Ibrahim saw in a dream that he was sacrificing Isaac. He traveled with him for a month until he reached the place of sacrifice in Mina. When Allah turned the sacrifice away from him and commanded him to sacrifice the ram, he did so. He traveled with it for a month in a single morning, and the valleys and mountains were flattened for him." This opinion is stronger in terms of the narration from the Prophet, peace be upon him, and from the companions and the successors.
Others said it was Ishmael. Among those who said so were Abu Hurairah and Abu At-Tufayl Amer ibn Wathilah. It is also narrated from Ibn Umar and Ibn Abbas. Among the successors who held this opinion were Sa'id ibn Al-Musayyib, Ash-Sha'bi, Yusuf ibn Mihran, Mujahid, Ar-Rabi' ibn Anas, Muhammad ibn Ka'b al-Quradhi, Al-Kalbi, and Alqamah.
Thus, Imam Qurtabi wrote his own conclusion in the following words:
وهذا القول أقوى في النقل عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وعن الصحابة والتابعين.
The saying (i.e. Ishaaq was Zabih-Ullah) has been narrated through stronger traditions from the Prophet and Sahaba and Successors (i.e. Tabaeen).

The description of the Bible says that God Almighty had made many promises to the Patriarch Abraham. 'And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed (Genesis 12:2-3)
God told Abraham about his both sons; Ishmael and Isaac (Genesis 17:20-22) we read: ''And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee (refers to Abraham’s prayer in Genesis 17:18): “O that Ishmael might live before thee”): Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation . But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.''
Again of Ishmael, God said to Hagar (Genesis 21:17-18) ''For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.''
Again of Ishmael (Genesis 21:20-21): And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.
From these quotations it is obvious that Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, Ishmael being the elder and Isaac the younger. God promised Abraham that He would multiply and bless his progeny. The promise applies to both Isaac and Ishmael. From the quotations it also appears that Ishmael lived in the wilderness of Paran, that the land of Canaan was given over to the sons of Abraham, and that the external sign of the covenant which God made with Abraham was circumcision of all males.
It is not we as a human being will decide about the fulfillment of this covenant of God Almighty. It is God Almighty Who Himself fulfilled His covenant according to His plan. There was a covenant of Blessing with the seed of Abraham for sending prophets. This was racial till the time of Jesus as all prophets Moses to Jesus were Israel. They all were followers of Mosaic Law and there was nothing new in their Law or covenant. Jesus was appointed as a last Reformer prophet for the people of Israel to bring them back.
Secondly, God Almighty not only promised with the seed of Abraham for spiritual Blessings of sending prophets but also about the possession of the land of Cannan: ''For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever ''. (Genesis 13:15)
The early part of the Old Testament is revelation of Moses and God Almighty has mentioned in detail about both son of Abraham; Ismael and Isaac in the Bible. The History of Middle East of 4000 years confirms that God Almighty fulfilled His promises as He made with the progeny of Abram.
The progeny of Issac was selected first for God's revelation in the area of Middle East. From among them arose hundreds Prophets, from Moses to Jesus. The progeny of Isaac two thousand years ruled over Canaan. Their hold on it was never really abolished, though for a short time it became weak.
After the seventh century C.E., however, the sons of Isaac, and those who observed the letter of the Law of Moses had to withdraw from Canaan. The sons of Ishmael, instead, became its political as well as its spiritual leaders. The fact that the sons of Israel had to surrender the land of Canaan shows that they had become unworthy of the promise which God had made to them through Abraham. This promise was that Israel would remain in possession of this land until the Law of Moses was to be superseded by the promulgation of a new Law for the guidance of the world.
In the utterances of David we have a hint of this meaning in Psalms (37:29) we read: ''The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever''.
This utterance of David, in fact, was a clear warning that the days of Israel’s dominance were numbered. The Prophet seemed to point out that the divine promise, after a time, was to be understood not in a racial but in a spiritual sense; that the sons of Ishmael were going to inherit the promises made to Abraham by inheriting the truth and a new covenant was going to be initiated through them.
The fact that the sons of Israel had to surrender the land of Canaan shows the time of the fulfillment of the other promise (which God had made to them through Abraham about Ishmael) started by the advent of Prophet of Islam and his revelation.
Palestine is for those who keep the covenant which Abraham made with God and it was to accept all prophets who would appear according to the prophecies of the Bible. Jews cut off themselves from this covenant of Blessing by rejecting prophet Jesus and later prophet Mohammad who appeared according to the prophecies of the Bible. ( After Jesus God Almighty never sent a prophet among Jews)
Christians accepted Jesus and fulfilled the covenant but later some of them rejected prophet of Islam and made themselves deprived of God's Blessings like Jews . Secondly, Christians also forget that the covenant lays down an important external sign.
That sign is circumcision of the male population (Genesis 17:9-11): ''And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every manchild among you shall be circumcised. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you''.
And (Genesis 17:14): ''And the uncircumcised man-child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

First, the Prophet said in his hadith that: "I am the son of two people who were slaughtered." Two people slaughtered here are Abdullah bin Abdul Muthallib (Prophet Muhammad's father) and Prophet Ismail. A long time ago, in case Abdul Muttalib (Muhammad's Grandfather) succeeded in digging the Zamzam well, he vowed to slaughter one of his children. After it came true, Abdul Muthallib drew lots to determine who would be slaughtered. The destiny went to Abdullah, but it was canceled and redeemed with 100 camels. The second person slaughtered is Prophet Ismail as the ancestor of the Arabs or Abul' Arab. If the Prophet Muhammad's lineage is traced, it will surely meet Ismail. Second, Prophet Ismail lived in Mecca and participated in building Kaaba with his father, Abraham. Moreover, in Mecca, there is a relic located in Mina, namely Al-Manhar, as a slaughter place. It is not for Ishaq since he didn't live in Mecca but in Palestine. Third, Allah associates Ismail as a patient prophet mentioned in Quran Al-Anbiya verse 85. It is because of his patience in accepting God's command to be slaughtered. Allah also describes him as a prophet who always keeps his promise mentioned in Quran Maryam verse 54. It is because of his willingness to help his father, who has promised to God. Fourth, Ishaq is the father of Jacob. When God gave Ibrahim the good news about the birth of Ishaq, he also informed that Ishaq would have a son named Ya'qub. So, it became proof that Ishaq will not be slaughtered based on God's news. Indirectly, Allah informed that Ishaq's age would reach adulthood until he has a son. It was also impossible if Ishaq was sacrificed after having a son as he was old enough. While in the Quran the person slaughtered was around 13 years old, and Ismail was it. Fifth, it is mentioned in the Quran that Ibrahim is 86 years old, but God has not given children yet. He asked God as stated in Quran As-Shaffat verse 99-100. In this verse, the person slaughtered refers to the first child. Scholars agree that Ismail was the first child. Not Ishaq. Sixth, many narrations explain that the goat's horn slaughtered as a submission was hung in the Kaaba. This shows that the Prophet who was slaughtered was in Mecca, namely Ismail. If it were Ishaq, then the goat's horn would be in Palestine, the land of Syam.
