Today, I decided to dive into the history of Poison Ivy action figures. I go over some renditions of the figure such as the DC Direct Bomshells Poison Ivy and the Play Arts Kai Poison Ivy and unbox, review and compare them to the newest addition of the action figure family, Hush Mafex Number 198 - Poison Ivy.

I would have preferred the hand to be sculpted to the money as well. I understand that toy companies might want to give you more options, but it's so much easier when it's part of the figure. But I will say I also like the two suitcases. Some companies *cough*Super7*cough* just give you a suitcase where the plastic hinge turns white with one close so you know that's going to break after time, so if they aren't going to take the time to engineer it right then just do two good-looking ones.

I think she is a single jointed figure due to the fact she had this smooth design on it and on the other figures you can see its sort of split the xforce deadpool has single joints too also the bvs batman figure you showed was 40 - 30 so he wasnt as expensive as now

Thanks for the info! That makes sense for the joint, I can see how it would maintain the cleanliness of the design to do it that way. And wow, I had no idea! I wasn't into collecting Mafex as much then as I am now. I can't believe it sells for like $200 on eBay nowadays

@@beebziecollects yeah mafexs are usually the line that when they sell out you have to overpay for resellers prices or wait for the reissue that take like a year the hush blue batman reissue is a headache for me since i want him and he is selling out left and right
