You are such a great teacher. Quilting is new to me and you have made it easy to understand. I also love how "real" you are, and so funny. I used to live in Maine, years ago and loved it! In Michigan, now. 64 years old, lots of kids and grandkids. I will be following you. LOL That sounds creepy. I've seen some of your sad videos and I feel for you and am sending a cyber hug. That probably doesn't help the "I'll be following you" comment, does it. I'm harmless. The worst thing I would do is feed you!

    AWESOME TUTORIAL!
I made my grandaughter a rag quilt in the traditional way 3 years ago. I won't do that again. I have already made two like this one and have fabric cuts for 4 more.
I am thinking of doing a class for my extension office and homemakers clubs. I will send them to your TH-cam videos. Hope it will be ok. I really enjoy watching you. You are so real!
I put mine in a king size pillow case, fold it over, baste it shut, then wash and dry in the pillowcase.
Take out stitches, take it outside and shake it out. The birds will love me. What I love is, I don't have to clean out my washer or dryer afterwards.

I'm lucky that I have a lint tray in my washer so it goes in there. But yes, the birds will love those flannel threads in their nests! Squirrels too. Thanks in advance for sending your class to my channel. Much appreciated!

You are so amazing. I am teaching myself how to quilt. I made a jean quilt not too long ago and making the blocks and cutting them and sewing them back together was a success but wanted an easier way and i found this... So happy. Thank you. I have been watching your videos for hours now. I'm learning so much. Thank you for being so easy to follow.

I have two great nieces that will be born within the next couple of months. I was going to knit them blankets, but now I think this will be so much quicker and I love how it turned out. I've never done any sort of quilting, so I am anxious to try this. My Grandmother was a quilter but I never took the time to sit with her when I was young to learn from her; wish I would have taken the time. Thanks for the tutorial!

I've always been fascinated by quilt making but I'm not patient in cutting out all the tiny squares, etc. Once I am able to try it, I'll try posting a pic for you. ;)

Now THAT was clever! I thoroughly enjoyed your video! Your enthusiasm, your casual style of not getting all bogged down with being fussy about measuring (so different from Home-Ec class!) was so refreshing. Your imaginative method of making this rag quilt was genius! I've made ONE rag quilt a few years ago, started out with squares and took forever to finish! Your way makes so much more sense, and I just loved how that quilt turned out! I'm a disabled, retired Grandma, sewing in my laundry room, and I just realized I could've saved a million hours if I'd found your videos sooner! Thank you so much! You just made my day. Now I'm going to "binge-watch" more of your videos! WOW!
