- Hi guys, and welcome back to my channel! In today’s video, I reacted for the first time to ‘for your love’ by Måneskin. It was totally awesome, and such a sassy song. I often wonder why they haven’t released this as a single as it's their best English song (though I very much like Close to the Top as well). Thanks for this reaction.
Don't forget Ethan on drums! He also is a driving force in that band really backing Damiano's vocals perfectly. Easy on the eyes as well!
This is my favourite of their English songs, for sure. I listened it so many times, but it just occurred to me that his vocals simply describes the intensity of an intercourse with that final unbelievable scream followed by 'yeaaaa heahh.....' Glad you're back with Maneskin!
Ethan’s drumming helps to drill Damiano’s voice… like you practically can feel the hit… Vic & Thom makes it smooth

This is my favourite of their English songs this far, although some Italian ones are still firmly at the top. Everything just works. The music flows nicely, solos start and end naturally, each one of them gets a moment to shine.
Best Maneskin’s song imho. So tightly orchestrated, everyone has the chance to shine individually and yet they’re so well connected with one another that it’s ultimately the band that comes on top. The song is simple but never stays in the same place, with the chorus in the first part followed by the guitar+bass erotic exchange, then the drums with syncopated rhythm, then the bass solo with the guitar gently interjecting, then the vocal virtuoso and then the magnificent guitar solo. And it all ends with a bass arpeggio. The song is powerful catchy and above all sexy. Lyrics are not nearly as poetic as for instance in Coraline, but who recites a poem while making love?

Good review, I have been listening to maneskin from the very beginning and I find Ethan Torchio to be the one who made the best progress, the shy little boy from a few years ago is unrecognizable in his drumming today!

Great reaction as usual Rachel! You confirm that I’m not too crazy. As an older rocker this strikes me as a classic rock song that would have charted at #1 in the 80’’s and 90’s for all the reasons you mentioned. And yes even I find Damiano to be so appealing and able to pull this vibe off so well. This is my favorite English language song of theirs.

Hey Rachel you should watch them sing For your love last week at the iheart radio alter ego concert you can find the video on TH-cam. Their show was excellent. I wasn't at the concert I streamed it. Tonight they're going to be performing on Saturday Night Live.
I don't know if this is their best performance. They have a lot of them, but it's my favourite for sure. They're so into it. The vocals, the performance, the outfits...

Maneskin are definitely killing it every time - I wonder if they would have won Eurovision with this song as well :-) The guitar was insane, Thomas probably underrated not being in the spotlight, Damianos singing live more than impressive, and Victoria with great baselines as usual. So much chemistry, so much energy, I always wonder how they manage to be so powerful.

They won't compete in Eurovision this year since they're not competing in Sanremo festival either and it's the winner of Sanremo (or the one who gets in second place if the winner refuses) that will be the italian competitor in ESC.
I meant that Måneskin will be back to perform at Eurovision as last years winners and present the trophy to this years winner :)

The instruments in this were live as well. The guitar solo here as well is longer than the studio version.
@@liliaeth no, I think for the crowd they were live but the video took one month for get out and it's certainly because the recording was bad
@@jesuism6386 you have no real evidence of that though. Just because it took a while for the video to be out, does not mean the instruments weren't live, or that the recording wasn't the one recorded.
@@liliaeth I just watched this live countless times comparing it with the studio version and my deduction is that but it only engages me and several other people that I have seen say it too, but don't see any sign of negativity towards them simply sometimes host don't have the adequate equipment for real instrument
