You said two very true things: 1) their songs never stay in one place 2) they have different influences but they transform them into something of their own.

I am italian and I really suggest you to listen to le parole lontane, morirò da re and fear for nobody ,they are underrated especially the last one 👍👍

This is poetry.... Pink Floyd, led zeppelin, black sabbath, oasis, ac/dc.... An incredible mix.
They blend all the best elements of "rock musics" and create new joy.

I wanted to tell you this: I'm Italian, I live in Rome and a few years ago it was easy to find the Maneskin in the streets of the center of Rome, singing like street performers. The people always stopped enchanted with their music! Today, here in Rome, we're waiting for the world to release them to go home (Maneskin, tornate a casa...), and see their show.

This song reminded me a lot of My Chemical Romance's album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, and Damiano's vocals have the same timbre and grittiness as Gerard Way's vocals.

this is because we Italians only know us for the food or for the stereotypes that we put on us. We are a people of artists, and finally and I hope the rest of the world starts listening to songs in Italian which is a very poetic language. these guys reflect our characters and thoughts, there is not only the trap music that gives us guns, drugs and the competition to see who is more criminal. these guys are open minded and sexually. and it doesn't matter if Victoria likes men or women, or if Damiano David is engaged to an influencer, the important thing is that they have to express themselves and they are doing it well. Late to the party. But totally agree.. every song is different and throughout the song there are differences too and they mash up so many amazing influences. That guitar solo in the middle is the reason I love love love this song. It is insane!! Totally with you on flying to Italy to see them live. I am already wondering if I should get Eurovision tickets for next year even to see them if only for one or 2 songs in that show. In terms of fave songs...so so hard to pick one. I do love their cover of an Italian song called Vengo della Luna. I also love Coraline but really every song is so different they all are my favourites at different times!!
