I love Cabela's/Bass Pro Shop. My wife and I went to the one in Grapevine, TX yesterday and spent over an hour with Bill, their version of Chad. We got some good stuff! Some of it may have cost a bit more but we got stuff that works and didn't buy anything that we didn't need so we probably actually saved quite a bit. Plus, we had a lot of fun! I mean nobody has fun at Wal-Mart.

Bass Pro bought Cabela's so it's kinda hard to have a BPS vs Cabela's challenge. I prefer the Cabela's because they had better hunting stuff for the area.

I love my Blade Baits. Fish love them this time of year bc they mimic a dying shad that is fluttering up and fluttering down in or beneath the shad ball. I generally like them better on Owner rings than the snaps. The tight action is why its a winter bait. Fish with Chad! Winter is about extremes. Really fast or really slow. They either eat for hunger (less likely in winter) or eat bc of reaction (speed crank).

Should have came to my Walmart. I can pick out winners when it comes to fishing
For less than $35 at Walmart i could beat yall with a ozark trail $10 rod and reel combo and 3 cheap baits that i love are the $1 spinners with a kicker white, grey or green kicker tail on the back. Caught my first pb bass 3.4lbs on that setup and landed a near 4lbs channel catfish 😂 ozark trail also makes some good baits for cheap that works my favorite is a small hard bait that rattles and looks like a bluegill. Thats beautiful lure caught my biggest bass at 6.8 lbs. Thats mother yucker fought HARD and i thought the rod was finally going to meet its match and welp i landed the fish perfectly fine. I have maybe 6 of the cheap orange Walmart brand rod and reel combos and have been able to out fish my friends and surprisingly those cheap combs cast far! Some 6lbs test with a small bluegill lure my goodness can cast over 100feet 😂
I have plenty of fun and caught lots of fish with my $79 rod/reel combo and about $40 worth of tackle
Quality you want basspro and cabelas, if you just want to catch fish until your gear breaks after a few fish, then walmart

In Australia we have BCF and Annaconda,ifind that Annaconda is better for price compared to BCF,but you can screw the prices even more off if you let the staff know at BCF that you can get it cheaper, then they mark the price down even more than Annaconda you just have to show proof of price from Annaconda from the website.

That bass128 kit ain’t bad for a kid or someone starting the hobby, the only real shitty part is you should buy different hooks because the ones in the kit are cheap and will probably bend out of the bass mouth if you get anything bigger than 4lb lmao

Fun video, but you kids need to get the fish into the water sooner. The longer a bass is out, obviously the higher the mortality rate is. Can’t catch it when it’s older and fatter if it’s dead!
We don't have Cabela's in California but Walmart beats Bass pro in fresh water products.
