Dave Barton sells replacement wiring harnesses and connectors to repair the coil pack harnesses.
Too bad the 960 owner didn't get good coil packs. If I see nice replacement ones in the wrecking yard, I grab them!
Thanks
Looks like that "new" turbo fell off a high rack somewhere and bounced around a bit. 960 will be nicer when the exhaust is back to being leak free. That should also help with the smooth running for which they are renowned.
You are probably right about that turbo. I suspect that it was cracked before they sent it.
Get you Some !!
Yes sir! 😆
Resto mod moving along!😎👍
Indeed
There are two control modules on that’s ignition circuit and each one controls 3 cylinders. Mine had the same symptoms and once the module down on the side of the intake was replaced mine ran smooth and silk
On the 960?
Rolling along, we are,
Yes sir
Hoping for a seat skin sale! :>)
I was told that that meeting is adjourned and people will continue to pay for all things rendered. 🤦🏾♂️😆
Seems like someone dropped the turbo on its head by accident. Oem turbos r the way for longevity and quality performance. But me myself kinda bit the bullet and got a mamba 22t CHRA, custom compressor housing and turbine housing and never looked back ever since
Interesting. Thanks for watching and sharing.
Whats going on with the timing belt cover? Look at 3.35 and 15.20, belt is eating up the cover!
I noticed that in the video myself. I'm going to send the guy a message and ask Tim. Was that some old damage or is something going on now with it.
He said he knows nothing about it so I'm going to head back out there and investigate that and probably end up replacing all the timing belt parts. 🤦🏾♂️ Thanks for the comment. It reminded me to ask him about that.
❤
✌🏾
Is that a Volvo or a Harley that I hear idling? Lol.
Sounds rough. 😆
those aftermarket coils are garbage. No matter what car I work on I go with OEM. I miss my minty 1995 960. One of the smoothest running cars I've owned.
I've had a few 960s and I must agree. Probably my favorite car of all times.
