    Good morning
    Thank you for sharing how to make the gnome shoes. As an idea I use baby shoes I find on clearance and recover them. I haven't paid more than 50 cents for them though. Your way is free and I love that!! I don't think there's anyone who doesnt have paper towel or toilet paper rolls especially a crafter. They are adorable! Thanks again for sharing! Have a fabulous rest of the week. Take care. Many blessings 💓⛄🌹💞🙏🙏

    Sometimes I use long tweezers to roll fabric when gluing. It burns, and I've done I many many times, and received blisters.

    What do you use to weigh down the boots so when you attach them to the gnome it doesn't tip over?

    • @Glitzystitcheshome
      @Glitzystitcheshome  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi,. When I weight them I use a small rock or magnet. I do not weight them often especially for my sock gnomes. They are pretty sturdy. Have a great day.

  • @victoriafiegehen70

    I use mini red solo cups for shaft of the boots. I like this idea too though.

    Someone mentioned to me years ago to keep a cup of cold water near you when you are using hot glue. Dip your finger quickly in the water should you get hot glue on your fingers.

    Would tp rolls work? Maybe need 2, but no need to cut lengthwise? Do you think a child size sock could be stretched over the cardboard form without cutting it?

    • @Glitzystitcheshome
      @Glitzystitcheshome  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not see why a to roll would not work as long as the measurements can be achieved. And sure you could try a child's sock. Yep no cuts

    Hey Shawnie. Thanks for sharing this. I make something similar but I use a cardboard sole and a half of a small ball ornament. I will have to try these out as well.

    Can you use toilet paper rolls

    • @Glitzystitcheshome
      @Glitzystitcheshome  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MonicaSmith-u1g Hi, you could you would just have to make sure the brace is long enough that secures the top of the shoe to the bottom of the shoe. And also toilet paper rolls are a bit thicker then a paper towel roll
